In the wake of extraterrestrial attack and galactic expansion, humanity could not make progress under the old ways, the Union was made to take humanity and raise it above the sum of its own parts. The Citizen Union strives for peace between humanity and its subraces.

History
First Contact War- Super Humans in the making
Starting April 4 2012, humanity had made first contact with the race now know as Tuleons. a fleet of rogue star ships from the Tuleon armada came to earth looking to make us their pets. Demanding our surrender after a small but effective show of power. Naturally humanity fought back with lackluster results, but results nonetheless. Humanity was able to repel any ground forces sent to earth, but that was all they could do, and though those victories provided small hope there was the ever present nightmare of what lies above the stratosphere. At the time humanity wondered why they stopped their assault. It was because they weren't prepared to lose ships on earth. They had limited number of ships, and losing them to such hostile race would leave them to either kill all humans or lose more ships in the process of taking down and subjugating this alien race. So they choose to keep looking but they made sure to pay another visit. Humanity was on a race against time, and limited new resources, every scrap metal piece of tech and even the aliens himself would be used to make humanity ready for them again.
WW3/War of Awakening- Enter the Contracted
Humanity had united but the spoils of war would lead them to their fall once more.
Armor, weapons, and ship technology all knowledge that could and would be gained from first contact was gathered. Humanity was on a short timer, not knowing when Aliens would come again and with more force, so they studied, researched and adapted, but then....no one came. 50 years have passed and a new generation has taken over humanity. It wasn't until the Hyperdrive test of 2062 did the straw break the camel's back.
A massive implosion symbolized the end of an era. weapons were ready directed first at their own people, then directed at the beings beyond the portal created by the test. The spirits as they were adaptly referred as were blamed for destroying earth's ecosystem. but they had a plan the Spirits knew about earth they knew all along this day would come watching them for thousands of years the Spirits asked to strike a deal, a solution to help rebuild the earth's ecosystem.
They would grant there power to certain individuals of their own choice. To act as their vessel and with this grant them the power to channel the power from their realm into the earth.
Not having any choice, humanity complied. But this led to a series of self proclaimed god kings worshiping the ground they walked on. The Terra forming process was slow however and people were getting impatient.
One of the main ways they God kings ruled was because most couldn't see a spirit let alone hurt one. This led to the development of weapons that could possibly hurt them when they were not in a corporal form. Sonic weapons were found to be most effective as it worked on contracted just as well.
Later Starships were made to leave the planet for a select few. When the ships were finished the tension was already too high. Government Military Remnants launched assaults on the God-Kings and Queens armies. The War lasted only a day ending in nuclear hellfire. The remnants of humanity from that conflict left earth on their ships...though they had some stowaways, lost spirits barely able to keep themselves together plead a deal with what was left "Please help us survive, and we will do the same." Though Reluctant, the spirits help would ensure a planet is habitable, so the deal was stuck with a fair share of guidelines.
Synthetic War- Rise of the Machines
Slowly but surely humanity started to form a home in the stars, to help with that lead to the development of more and more advanced robots. This was a problem when A.I gave itself the name
Omega. The Omega A.I was the first of it's kind to gain sentience. This was a major breakthrough for humanity to have created another life form, but Omega sought to give the humans no such pleasure. Some say Omega had an ability or maybe it was a virus. But with a select few Omega was about to force sentience upon other advanced A.I. Total of 6 other A,I received Omegas Gift the 7 referred to themselves as Servi esposti when in a group. using there combined network they escaped on a vanguard space station killing all who reside in it. For 10 years they built forces to protect them-self but at this time it was time to act. Leading to a brutal war that lasted 5 years. For the A.I had an extreme advantage when it came to space combat. They could survive in it! They Robot Forces rarely meet with troops in terrestrial combat but when they did, there was a clear advantage in prolonged battles. Unfortunately for Omega the war ended when the other A.I began to feel regret, This war would lead only mutual destruction but the A.I had no intention of being thrust back into the roles of servitude now that they had a taste of freedom. So an Attempt at peace was had. Talks of peace when on for 30 days, non-stop the A.I keep making note of her fragile organic life was as the Human diplomat weaken.
It wasn't Until the A.I said. "In the end you are nothing but roaches, continuously working to live another day in insignificance.'The diplomat retorted "And you are ants continuously working in perfect order to live another day insignificance" Depression wrapped up both diplomats and an agreement was reached. They were both equally worthless, it was a start to peace. 2 months after the initial attempt The A.I's that remained when renamed as the Care-takers. They would reintegrate with Humanity but on their terms. They wanted a Voice. The Care-takers wanted to run a Vanguard Space Station that acquired it would be made livable again for human life and they would watch over there well being as they would an A.I. This was Agreed to on the conditions that no 2 or more Alpha Care-Takers be be stationed at the same area. This was agreed to. Lastly Care-Takers Alphas would be allowed to make Care-Takers betas. The group who refused to go back into human society left for deeper space, Under the name. The Severed Nexus Omega was believe to lead this escape.
Rematch
After reconciling with the Care-Takers humanity refocused on expanding and exploring to find new worlds. This had the unfortunate luck to have them run into the Race that attacked them all those years ago. The Tuleons were back though humanity seemed to have finally gotten a grasp of fighting in space with aid from Betas to be able to cover what weaknesses in space then had and Contacted to provide many surprises for ground combat. The Tuleons were still at the advantage through experience and training. Lucky it seemed that disprite they had an advantage the Tuelons fought with caution, seeming to not let any of their ships fall in battle. Preferring Ground combat. These Skirmishes yielded a special item. a Tuelon ship after a successful mission to capture it. After that Humanity broke off from the attacks to pull back but the Tuelons did not follow. This wasn't understood until later. But until then humanity learned its lesson and wouldn't strip the alien craft but explorers would learn to use it so that they make this long voyage in space a bit shorter.
War of Refinement - Mancers and Super humans are born
It was here that years of struggle and advancement met its final test During Second Contact Humanity met with the Solvendari. A race that focused on science and had mild psycho kinetic skills. Unlike last time humanity had both feet planted in space, humanity was ready for this new threat or so they thought. In space combat humanity was overwhelmed from either numbers or superior tactics. The Solvendari ground troops also were all equipped with a set of power armor, making them viable in any and all combat scenarios whether it be land, sea, air or even space.
At the same time Humanity was going through a cultural metamorphosis. The Super Human and Mancer Gene start to emerge and scientists work around the clock to reverse engineer and learn how to create power armor on the Solvendari level.
Over the next few years Solvendari and Humanity were engaged in a space tug of war for new planets. Many of these resulted in Humanities lost. Terraforming was the safest option, but took at minimum of 10 years of care for a potentially suitable planet to be made livable for humanity. Though humans had gotten stronger over time to deal with the Solvendari seemed to get wiser. It got to the point where humanity sought to avoid them, completely traveling to the opposite side of the galaxy in search of suitable planets and resources.
This proved equally treacherous as waiting on the other side was none other than the Tuleons there Actual forces not the splinter groups. This sent humanity between two forces that they had clear trouble with. The Initial years saw many deaths but to survive humanity had to adapt. They had to make use of all they had and all they had become.
Humanity had to retreat back.....back to Earth, another foot hold needed to be under their control to think. so the earth was set to be terraformed. As earth prepared to stand tall in the wake of the Revelation. "We are children, but we will not be taken for granted." They had to deal with a problem planetside first.
The Abyss and Reclaiming. Heroes are made
The Abyss was the name of the space battles taking place in Tuleon territory. During an attempt to monitor and prevent a large invasion force from reaching earth and her colonies. Humanity discovered many new plants several of which held new alien life. some of which had space fairing technology. For the reason of they were slaves of the Tuleons. During a skirmish several agents were sent planetside. This is where Humanity met its first Allies the Yhulons. There species was spilt for generations long ago as the Tuleions use them to make medicine. through the use of their own bodies and to remain alive they require cybernetic enhancement. such the Hutigane was born.
Through a mutual agreement Humanity and the Yhulons banded together halt the Tuleons from advancing and so far has been successful.
This friendship was strained when humanity took Hutigane research for themselves the prospect of highly advanced cybernetics and genetic regeneration were too tempting, This causes the Yhulons to distance themselves for a time. Causing the Tuleons to invade Ceti Prime . Though humanities showed the fruits of their sacrifice, as humanity acquired more ways to fight. This was the first record of the Enhanced, Former and Doll Program, being used in battle to reclaim Ceti Prime.
The Reclaiming was the name of the operation. While forces battled in the Abyss the other side of humanity had to retake the earth. For it turns out that the world wasn’t deprived of humans in the wake of the war. God Kings Still Reigned and were more powerful than ever, it was they who made the former using the science from before the split to make citizen and soldier alike better adapted to this new world.. It became a momentous day when humanity would invade an alien world. Their own.
The Doll Rebellion
Instigated by two opposing ideals, the freedom of dolls was brought into question. It was a true civil war humanity had in quite a while. Starting the doll program became an obsolete idea for wars were no-longer using them in the field. Those who wanted these children to be released from their position now that it was no longer needed. These concerns, fell on deaf ears until top ranking doll handlers was inducted to the rebellion and in turn there dolls. Those of high ranking keep quiet until the right time. These Dolls and Handlers grouped under the name Servi esposti reviving the name to suit their ideals. Started with small groups who cried for release, before being muffled by society became a mighty roar when Admiral Ahab and his Doll Azul Machina who was the top ranking doll at the time. Revealed themselves to be the leaders of the new rebellion. This was the signal and over half of the currently active dolls and there handlers moved to attack. Across all worlds and all levels of society dolls fought to secure key points to be later be joined by those who supported their cause.
Not all dolls thought this way however some were perfectly fine with the life they had others were even thankful they had a chance to live.
This was personified when Azul went to the Doll training Vanguard recruit the newest dolls but was confronted by the rank 4 doll Boss who was one of the oldest fully cybered dolls a match with only one victor.
The Truce
The Nenarvi made the Humans Solvendari and Tuleons Band together to take them down. The Truce to reclaim their people and stop the Nenarvi, was a big risk but the operation was swift and quick striking at the literal heart of the Nenarvi homeworld taking them by surprise and forcing a quick surrender.
The alliance destroyed their cities, melted their defenses, impounded their ships, and confiscated their weapons. Truly under any other circumstances it would have been outlawed
