Vampire
Vampires in Zemia work differently to in other settings. Firstly, vampirism isn't any sort of infectious disease but is instead a offshoot/subspecies of human, similar to Zemian elves and dwarves.
Rather than sucking blood, Zemian vampires feed on the very souls of creatures to sustain themselves. Although they can survive without feeding for long periods of time (in the region of months), it leaves them in a physically weakened state. For unknown reasons, vampires aren't tracked by the monsters of the Puestyn Desert which led to them being a majority population in the Skdētī Principality and surrounding regions.
