Is the one and only mountain left on Almar since it split from the mainland of Zelestoria. It is nigh on impregnable and everything the Almarian's know about this place- are all rumours, myths and stories.
The Most Common Myth
Once you go in, you never come out again. Many monsters roam the smoky shadows, put there by the Goddess herself to stop us humans from trying to go back to
'The Other Place'
People are driven insane and are forced into the Shadow Dominion where the dark creatures will rip you apart and your soul will never pass on. You are a stagnant soul that the Dominion needs to keep protecting us.

The truth is that Hythe Grathmere is the tail end of the Hakkan Mountains on the mainland. The Host that lives there is the protector of the Shadow Dominion- the only gate to be able to get back to Zelestoria.
The only way to get inside Hythe Grathmere is to be invited by The Host himself. The chosen will be sent a letter with a spell of transportation, this burns up as it is used. Depending on how nicely you play with The Host will determine your fate. Most will not leave the place again. But those fair few who survive may pass the Shadow Dominion- or are sent back with a wiped memory of their stay at Hythe Grathmere.
