General Physical Condition
Generally strong and lean, packed with dense muscle that makes her heavier than she looks. Tall and "skinnier than a birch tree" according to some. Will absolutely kick your ass, even after a hard childbirth and resulting infection made her less healthy than she was.

Years of being a soldier means that Yarrow appreciates a hot bath or shower more than the average Atherian. It also means she won't luxuriate in one. She gets clean as she can and appreciates it when it's available. When it's not, she deals with it.

Parents: Lord Lihin and Queen Zameera
Yarrow never knew her father, as he died early on in her mother's pregnancy, murdered by Lord Exsil Vis. Her mother, Queen Zameera, was by many accounts cold and harsh, unforgiving like the sea for which she was named. Yarrow, however, has happier memories of her mother than that, though in later years she questions how much of that happiness was the rose-coloured view one has of someone who is dead and gone. Queen Zameera died when Yarrow was a teenager. She was also murdered by Lord Exsil Vis, though it's later revealed that the murder was orchestrated at the hands of █████████████████████████. After her death, Yarrow's Aunt Zanny ruled as regent until Yarrow's sister Zardria came of age.Aunts and Uncles
Zanny, Zameera's younger sister, ruled Athering as regent after her older sister's death. She was bitter and angry and easily manipulated by Zardria into doing the young woman's bidding. Thadea, Zameera's twin sister, was sent to live in exile with a bevy of caretakers and servants when she was an infant, an old tradition of the royal family of Athering, dating back to the time of Eradola and Mina. By most accounts Zameera was never aware of her sister's existence. Yarrow met Thadea when she and Jules ended up in exile, and took her aunt back with her to Atherton when they returned.Siblings and Cousins
Zardria deZameera Zarqon is Yarrow's only sibling -- a twin sister. Born just minutes before Yarrow, Zardria became the heir-apparent to Athering's Sceptre. Yarrow and Zardria have a troubled relationship, right up until Zardria's death, but Yarrow strives hard to find forgiveness for her sister's many sins, and wishes they could have properly reconciled in life. Ghia deCharity is Yarrow's cousin on her father's side.Children
Kaela deYarrow is born in 4020, the Third Age, several months after the Glorious Revolution ends. It is expected the girl will be the heir-apparent to the Sceptre by most, but Yarrow can't stop mulling over what she was told the night she defeated Umbra: her child was marked by the Goddesses, and she couldn't stop that destiny from happening.Religious Views
Prior to the events of the Glorious Revolution, Yarrow was not terribly religious. She was a "Kore's Mass Believer", the type to attend services at the Temple once in a blue moon and not give much heed to religious life beyond that. Like most Atherians, she believed in the Goddesses, but didn't see that They gave much of a feck about her. She also tended to see the priestesses as religious wingnuts.
After going to battle with a literal goddess and hearing another speak through her friend, she became a little more interested in the world of religion and spirituality. She started attending services at the Temple as regularly as her royal duties would allow, and began to read as much as she could on the history of the Aradian Order and the Goddesses they worshipped.
Despite her growing religious feelings, she still contained a healthy skepticism of the people who built the religious institutions in Athering, and never accepted something a priestess said by virtue of them being a priestess.
Relationships
History
Anala and Yarrow came up together in the Atherian military and forged a war-buddy bond. That bond was tested, and broken, after the events of the Battle of Voco. During Bellica, Anala and Yarrow reforged their friendship and deepened it, becoming best friends and confidants.
