Sinfatum

The mysterious Sinfatum party is a band of adventurers that have recently become quite famous throughout Myrthul. Rumors surrounding the party, however, are often contradictory and it appears no one truly knows what happens wherever they go.

While Sinfatum's objectives are unclear, whether they hunt for gold or power, is unclear, they appear to help the people wherever they go. Because of this, many bards now have verses dedicated to the party.

Not much is known about what the party's properties may be, there is rumor that they own a house in Morathin

History

The rumors surrounding Sinfatum began after a fight in Bjornfall when its debated whether a party member was stabbed or he had stabbed someone else. What is known is that the party rooted a cult from a portion of the city's sewer system and hunted them through the Hallow Woods. In the woods, another conflicting rumor arises; either the party thwarted the cults plan to raise the dead or the cult stumbled into undead and the party ended the curse.
The next instance of their heroic deeds was at Morathin. Sinfatum infiltrated the closed-off island with an exiled dwarf, a close friend of the previous king, and started a rebellion. They worked from the south side of the island, away from the city, and eventually made their assault. After restoring power to King Amgrar, it is said they were afforded the opportunity to purchase property in Morathin, although it is not known whether or not they actually bought any.
After a year of near-silence about Sinfatum, people had begun forgetting the name. But suddenly, the party reemerged in Tempest Valley just as South Gilaan was being destroyed by a dragon. It is rumored the party is the one King Gilaan sent to recruit the giants, and that they were the ones to actually slay the dragon.
Following the events in the valley, the band of adventurers made their way to the Island of Tern. Not much is known about what they did on the island, other than it is rumored they killed the king, who was suspected of letting upper-class citizens abuse those of lower-class.
The latest rumor about Sinfatum was that they were headed for Aknara.
