Body Features

He has scars and burns lacing up his forearm to his elbows, largely due to the time he spends smithing.

Facial Features

Despite being a high elf, he has managed to grow a beard. This is most likely due to the fact that he was actually raised by dwarves.

Apparel & Accessories

Odrift doesn't really care for his own appearance, dressing in little more than rags while he works. The influence of Scarlett can be apparent at times, often showing in the materials clad upon his form. When the occasion calls for it, he can be persuaded into better quality clothing, though he may be heard grumbling about it.

Odrift has succeeded in resurrecting a nearly extinct race: the Warforged. He prefers to remain silent regarding his other accomplishments.

He enjoys his ale quite a bit, as would anyone dwarf-raised. Another enjoyment of his is polishing his previous companion and inspiration for the revival of the warforged, Robert (Row-bert). Robert may not be a faceplate anymore, but it is the way the two maintain their friendship over the years.

The thing he hates most is the worship of Vecna.

Can be arrogant and impatient. Likes to take risks. He can be overprotective and will go out of his way to fight on his own rather than involve any of his loved ones, much to Scarlett's irritation and concern.

He is usually covered in a layer of ash and soot from his smithing. His wife often reminds him to bathe, usually by having him join her in her bath.

History

The two of them met aboard a pirate ship while Scarlett was researching some local events about a strange mist that came from the sea. Odrift had approached, requesting to take part, only to end up in shackles due to her suspicious nature. The ship was attacked by some water drakes and Odrift convinced her that he would assist the party in the fight. He upheld his word and even helped her by negotiating with a powerful force as she started to go into shock from losing a portion of her left leg. The result was a nearly perfect prosthetic melded to her leg, the only telling factor being slightly cool to the touch. Afterwards, she began to offer him more chances for her trust, which he continued to meet and exceed. Odrift began offering to teach her about the arcane possibilities she could unlock, and she accepted readily, always eager to learn more. In turn, she offered to assist in his research, and the pair grew close quickly. A few fateful events later and they were nearly always together.

History

Odrift and Azrael adventured together for many years with a fair sized party, among which was Scarlett, Odrift's future life partner. Their group gathered together to fight against a number of dangerous enemies, eventually defeating the kingdom that had usurped the Warforged and bringing about a revival of the race. Eventually, Azrael married one of Odrift's sisters, and the two became brothers-in-law. To this day, they remain staunch allies with one another and can still be found traveling to various places throughout the known planes together, oft accompanied by Scarlett as well.
