Born to the sea, some claim. Others claim he was born to a race of sea born dwarves. Yet others claim he was born in Quantium. He will never tell. Simon Salmon is one of the fisherman who called Quantium home when Overgrowth visited. He was unwittingly known to make a ruckus wherever he went, being of foul temper when on land, but all those who have sailed with him claim he is as happy on the ocean as most of them are in bed with their wives.

He has tattoos of the Kracken on one arm, an anchor on the other, and on his back is his boat, gently floating forever more.

Personal history
Simon never truly diverges where he hails from. As far as anyone knows, one day he came into port in Quantium on a fishing dingy, and the next he was gone. This happened more and more frequently for years until one day he came back, bought a shack on the wharf, and announced he was going to be marrying Coilette Salmon. A week later he was married again and back out on the ocean.
He has come back with some interesting catches in his time at quantium. He has brought back magical cargo, dead merfolk, even once a whale carcass that he must have spent weeks dragging back in his little boat. Mysterious as ever, he only tells that this is what Gozreh deems fit to send his way, when he is asked where he finds these treasures.
Employment
Since coming to Autumnfall Simon has been foul tempered. Had he known they would end up in a damned forest he never would have came. He vows that once the ocean is found he will make his way there and make a life.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
He longs for his fateful mistress, in every waking moment, in every waking breath. He knows he will die on the sea, but until then the sea is always going to be his companion.

He will only wash himself in salt water. This has become expensive since the move to Autumnfall

Family Ties
His family relations are rather strained due to his lifestyle. These days Coilette and him are always at each other's throats, arguing and screaming at all hours of the day. Some people say though that between the screaming matches they have seen love more pure than any other between the two.

His accent is rather strange, not like anything in Quantium. He often swears and causes offence, but he never seems to notice he does so.
