Newcastle Interplanetary SpacePort

The Newcastle Interplanetary SpacePort (Yera SpacePort; NISP) is the only spaceport on Yera and thus the main gateway to the planet. It's on the site of the first spaceship landing on the planet.   It is accessable by car via the M2 highway and by Newcastle Metro trains (line F25 from Central Railway Terminal).

Purpose / Function

From Yera SpacePort, spaceships are launched for flights to planet Earth. The destinations on Earth include:
  • Sydney, Australia
  • Singapore
  • London, UK
  • Calgary, Canada
All flights are conducted by Yera Spaceways.

Architecture

The Yera SpacePort consists of two terminal buildings - one for arrivals and one for departures. They are seperated by a car park. The apron can handle 12 spaceships and is directly connected to the only runway, which is 5600 metres long.
