The Network

The network was dug out by Amans as his eldritch body flowed through the earth during its emergence leaving behind tunnels that vary from mouse sized to ceilings that are a mile high and these tunnels run across Yarth as a whole under oceans and through mountains. It was here that humanity was able to survive the coming of Venari Away from her dreadful gaze until they had an understanding of Amans remains and by extension Venari.

Geography

The network often includes sub basements and even buildings that have sunken through the earth with time though these rarely have a path to the surface and are never deep enough to be in proximity to a Sun Stone and thus are usually uninhabited. Within the network usually in grand caverns that span for miles Humanity was able to rebuild their cities under the warm and giving light of the Sun stones thought to be shards of the center of the old sun they mysteriously continued to glow as the old sun did. These sun stones allowed humans to grow crops grass even forests in some areas.

Fauna & Flora

While Venari's corruption cannot spread into the network those who explore too deep or too far from a sun stone risk the body of amans himself flowing through the tunnel and lashing out at any it comes across. Unlike Venari Amans needs no host to create eldritch abominations they merely appear in the silent darkness of the tunnels these hold a hatred for all life on earth but without Amans's soul to guide them they are not capeable of an organized offensive on the cities of man.

Natural Resources

The depths of the earth were ironically the least changed by The Hemorrhage allowing physics, laws of nature, and most materials like copper and iron to remain unchanged.
