the Topsiders first emerge from The Network This is a one way trip for them as the leaders of the Network will not allow a topsider back in fearing Venarian Corruption.

After Venari's arrival Humanity went extinct, or so she had thought. Beneath the earth in caverns ranging from lava tubes in size to mile high chambers Humanity lived, for when Amans pulled his form from the earth it carved out great and magnificent channels in the earth for Humanity to inhabit. Humanity hid here for generations Studying what was left of Aman's massive body and power until over thousands of years Humanity grew resistant to Aman's and by extension Venari's corruption and were able to return to the surface.
