Personal history
When Annamaria was fifteen, she fell in love with her Handmaid, Leona. For six years, the two kept their relationship secret, but on her 21st birthday, Annamaria's father learned of their bond. He had Leona killed and imprisoned his daughter, to "reeducate her".
During her imprisonment, Annamaria begun worshipping The Sanguinary Queen and eventually was given a Warlock Pact with her. The Sanguinary Queen sent Sybil as part of the pact, to turn Annamaria and free her.
Once turned, she took the name Nyx and started her campaign against all that lives, in order to fuel a ritual that would reform Leona's body and bond her soul to it, effectively truly bringing her back.
She bonded herself to Leona's soul in the Shadowfell, forcing her into a Dread Lord state, and preventing herself from dying.
She then enslaved the Raven Queen 's high priestess Ravenheart to her cause and went to war with Ya'rin, one of the last cities the Raven Queen is actively and openly worshipped in.
The Seamaids were formed in response to Nyx's naval assaults, and she was brought down after a band of heroes managed to kill Leona in the Shadowfell. Nyx was brought to justice for her crimes and died.
Or so we thought.
After the current heroes of Ya'rin were forced into a strange pocket dimension, Nyx revealed herself to one of them and is now considered to be active again.

Morality & Philosophy
Nyx has little morality to speak of. What person Annamaria of Dalry was, there is nothing left of her. Nyx thirsts for power, revenge and destruction, a shade of her old self.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Previously, Nyx had been attempting to fuel her spell to bring back Leona. Now, untethered to her Pact, little is known about her goals. Slaying the Raven Queen seems to have been one of those goals, however.
Wealth & Financial state
During her prime, Nyx owned the nation of Dalry. She converted all of her subjects into undead to be used as fodder for her army. Now, Dalry is a deserted wasteland, although, since her line had no heirs, it is legally still her property.
