Seamaids

Dark blue sails on the Horizon, bearing Ya'rin's emblem and a battle cry - then all hell breaks loose. Wherever the Seamaids sail, men quiver before them. They make up the Ya'rin navy and are an all-female fleet of various ships, as well as Merfolk infantry.

Structure

At the top stands the Grand Admiral Deshiya Seablood, a Siren and brilliant strategist, as well as a ruthless fighter. Below her are the Captains of their respective ships and Squad leaders for the Merfolk infantry. She leaves leadership of individual crews mostly up to their Captains, but when she calls to battle, everyone is expected to fall in line.

Public Agenda

Not only are the Seamaids a formidable military asset, they are also the only connection to the mainland colonies. Without them, the city would quickly starve.

History

The Seamaids only really became an organized force after the war against Nyx Shadowmend, after which the Ya'rin-adjacent waters were infested with hostile undead. Deshiya Seablood herself founded the Fleet by rallying people to make her people's homes safe once more. Ever since, the Seamaids have steadily risen in influence
