Bloodforged
"You need more than a knife and a pair of fangs to protect this place," Laelin Do'sek said when she proposed the creation of the Bloodforged order, over five centuries ago.
Today, the Order acts as the Ya'rinian City Guard, Military and executive force of law. They are Drow and Vampires - each member is one of either, or both, fighting under the Blessing of Blood, in the name of the The Sanguinary Queen .

Structure
Laelin Do'sek is the highest commanding officer of the Bloodforged. Below her are the Battlemasters, each in charge of between 100 and 200 soldiers. Within these units, smaller groups are led by the Blades. Priests of the Sanguinary Queen operate outside of this hierarchy and are considered advisors to both Laelin and her Battlemasters.
Culture
Founded by a Vampire, and one of the most prominent followers of the Sanguinary Queen, religion plays a big role in the Order. While not a prerequisite to join, it is impossible to be a member and not interact with the sanguine faith in some form.
Furthermore, a Bloodforged warrior is taught to put the good of the people above their own. Every Battlemaster and Blade emphasizes to their subordinates that the Order is meant to serve those who cannot fight for themselves, and that duty is sacred.
