Jump Points

Jump Points are the entry and exit points into Highspace. They are located 400 to 500 million miles above and below the barycenter of a star system. Over 99% of the time, trips between Jump Points takes 6.8 to 7.3 Standard Days. There are exceptions, but this is rare.
Systems with a Katrev Point sometimes have only one Jump Point and these are more difficult to locate and/or navigate than regular Jump Points.
There is no known correlation between Jump Point destinations and their locations in the physical universe. To date, only 3 systems have been found that have Jump Points that have been located within the known Sea that can be seen from another location in the Sea. They are not within the same or adjacent clusters.
