Queen Illyria of the Winter March

As history currently stands, there is little debate that a woman named Illyria did, in fact, exist and erect her home to be what is now known as Castle Weathermore. Additionally, science and history has confirmed that Elvari  owe their ancestry in no small part to being evolutionary descendants of Sylvari from The Feywilds . However, whether or not Illyria was in fact the daughter of Titania as Illyria claimed is a matter of religious interpretation.
Regardless, her validity as the God-Emperor who would go on to bring civilization to the vast majority of the continent of Boreal is undisputed. The name "Boreal", in fact, was originally a human term meaning "a severe, fatal cold". It now exists as a permanent reminder of the landmass's change to a far colder climate as Illyria's "Winter March" stretched ever forward with the speed and ease of a frigid wind, which now gives the landmass it's iconic yellow grass that learned to grow in the taiga that was forced upon it.
Upon Illyria's passing, her son, the current presiding King Ioji Hyoga over Alberdae and it's surrounding territories, named the land surrounding Weathermore castle after his mother, thus creating the capital city-state of Illyria , permanently continuing his mother's conquests in her name.

In truth, Illyria was the *adopted* daughter of Titania. When Illyria's birth mother passed, her father fell into a deep depression that left him neglectful and distant. When the harsh Boreal winter became too much for Illyria to believe herself capable of survival beneath her father's ineptitude, she killed him. As his blood drained onto the frozen wooden floor, it hardened, forming a mirror of red ice. In the reflection, Titania revealed herself to Illyria, offering her the option to become the Fairy Queen's opportunity to live vicariously through a true ruler in Xelestar.
Additionally, Abnur Arkannon was Queen Illyria's secret lover and the father of King Ioji Hyoga , meaning that the King and his daughter, Princess Inina Hyoga , are not actually full-blooded elves. Thus rendering them unfit to lead Illyria, Alberdae or Boreal  in the eyes of some Moon Elf (Elvari ) purists.
