Sofía Kai

A member of the Protector sub-caste of the Warrior Caste stationed on Viðrjǫrð, Sofía is a talented bodyguard assigned to protect high ranking members of the Leader Caste when they travel amongst the Worker or non-Xahian population.

Physical Description

Body Features

Sofía is about average height and build for one of her caste, at 2.51 metres in height, and 150 kg in weight. She has continued to keep up the exercise regime from her early years, and as such has retained the powerful build usually associated with Soldiers and Guardians.

Facial Features

Sofía has darker than usual skin for a Xahian, but the same black, straight hair and dark eyes. Her training has led to her controlling her facial expressions carefully, as not to give away any hint to the focus of her attention.

Specialized Equipment

As a member of the Protectors, Sofía is entitled to carry the best personal weapons available to the Warrior Caste, and wear some of the most advanced body armours, even when not on duty.

Personal history

Born on the world Xahi itself, she was, like all Xahians, born on into a ʧudɔr or 'sibling batch' with 6240 other potentials from the Warrior caste. She was given the name 'Kai' at birth by her Mother.
From an early age, she showed a strong aptitude for observation and high reaction times, as well as a strong protective streak over her dɔrʌbd and when assessed at age 10 was placed into the Protector stream and trained to be a bodyguard. She led her class in all fields, and passed her age 16 assessment easily.
Rumours abounded that she was destined to become one of the famed Council Guard, who protect the highest of all the leaders in the Federation of Xah, but an incident at age 19, when she deliberately failed a test to allow one of her fellow class-mate to succeed made her unsuitable for this highest of accolades. Instead, on graduation at age 21, she was assigned to one of the toughest worlds for Protectors, Viðrjǫrð, well known for its high rate of attacks from the relatively large non-Xahian population still there.
Since her assignment, she has continued to excel in her role, making a good impression on her Leader caste clients for her discresion and commitment to duty.
