Unakai (ooh-nuh-kai)

The Unakai Clan is situated in the South-East of Schalenmere and is the third largest of the clans behind Akaria and Kono. It is situated not far from the coastline of The Frigid Gulf and has one of the coldest climates of the clan localities.
Being so close to the coast has enabled the Unakai Clan to be a people of ship-building and fishing: though the clans have no set army Unakai would function as the navy if it did. Their small long-boat vessels that carve through the dangerous waves of The Frigid Gulf make the Unakai warriors fearsome on the water as well as on land. 
The people of Unakai are warriors first and foremost but they are are also builders and craftsman, they are healers and navigators using their ships to sail the treachorous Gulf guided by the stars. In Clan Unakai the mastery of a ship is as familiar as breathing and a pivotal part of Clan life.

Religious worship: worship among the Unakai is heavily biased towards Astrumina, moreso in recent times with their Chieftain Hans Velasir's devotion to her. There is also a prevalent worship of Astutia and Aecerinth.
