The Erudition Archive
Around the year 4891 AC a number of Sapredia’s followers and acolytes around the world each received a shared vision. A vision of providing all those in the realms the knowledge that they had gained, a way to share, accumulate and document knowledge like never before. These acolytes found each other, meeting in Daevenia to begin the founding of what would eventually become the first of The Erudition Archives.
These acolytes worked tirelessly, copying texts and tomes by the hundreds then thousands throughout their lifetimes before constructing the archive itself to house this great trove of knowledge. The first curator of this archive was Zosia, a staunch follower of Sapredia who worked tirelessly to expand the Daevenia archive and paved the way for the founding of the Iotho and Tymongaard branches. They are anointed as Sapredia’s divine champion for their tireless efforts.
The Erudite scholars were also instrumental in the creation of The Ammolite Arcane Academies, working with the mages to copy arcane texts and scrolls in order to establish a library for those seeking arcane pursuits.
Though at one time the Archives were the sole publisher of new texts this has changed over the centuries with knowledge being shared by the Archives but not regulated entirely by the organisation. As such there is a faction within The Erudition Archives of Erudite scholars and acolytes whose purpose is to traverse Xaedia in search of new tomes to add to the extensive library while also ensuring the knowledge being published outside of the organisation is as truthful as can be proven.
