The Bright Council

The Bright Council is the governing body of Tymongaard. It consists of 10 members, each an elected official from one of the 10 major towns and cities of the Realm. Every 10 years an election is held across these localities and from the candidates in running, a member is voted via democratic election. Councillors may only serve a 10th of their lifespan, another ruling to ensure change is constant. The Bright Council was first established in 6287 AC, it was formed originally by the Lords and Ladies of the 10 Tymongaard cities but over time the election was opened up to the general populace, allowing for fresh faces and new ideas.
