Raashen (rah-shen)

Raashen has an unusual culture as a result of the mixing of traditional Wildland races into the realm. The only continent to successfully integrate the Wildland islands into realm culture Sa’htenbraath and its two realms are anomalous in comparison to the other continents. Raashen specifically is an incredibly free and liberal realm. The people of Raashen are a community focused people with hospitality and generosity at the forefront of priorities. This outlook may have its roots in combating the sorrows a harsh landscape can provide. Raashen is covered with deserts, badlands and dense jungles resulting in far spread out settlements. Not only is the land harsh but also the creatures that stalk the dunes and undergrowth, a large number of these beasts being found nowhere else in the realms resulting in a small black market trade of 'exotic' creatures to other realms. There is also a large naval culture in Raashen and Iotho due to the mix of island/continent living, some islands have even been manufactured in order to aid this lifestyle.

Demography & Population: Raashen's population is made up of mostly Tieflings, Tabaxi, Yuan-ti and Firbolgs though Humans and Dwarves are also highly common as well as a small population of Yvrae and Elves and a very small number of Dragonborn
Religion: Kari is the most commonly worshipped god though Aecerinth, Eurustus Sorsun, Somnovus and Mayavin are also widely worshipped
Technology: The advancements of the other realms have indeed made their way to Raashen (though mostly through black market trading) and as such it is relatively well advanced. Next to no-one in Raashen condemns magic and tech marrying and development, though the most common advancements are for under-the-table dealings
Military: Raashen has a small active military with a large reserve of soldiers, town guards are also present though they are well respected and kind
Climate: Sa’htenbraath is the warmest of the continents with the North-Western areas being the warmest in the world. Some of the Northern coast is desert/scrubland and life can be hard for those who live there. Winters are pretty much none-existent in the realm
