Strength of Divinity

It is well known that the strength of a God or Goddess is proportional to both the amount of followers that worship them, as well as the relevance of their dominion. This served as the start to The Godswar, and to this day continues to be the driving motivation of the Totems. The more limited their dominion, the less potential power that deity can accrue.
Additionally, Gods and Goddesses have the unique ability to create minor copies of themselves, known as "Aspects", which represent the various interpretations of their domain. These Aspects are typically weaker than the deity themselves, and, in turn, weaken the original deity by their creation. Most deities have several Aspects at any given time, allowing them to assert their will in several locations at once. Killing an Aspect does not destroy its power, but allows it to return to the original deity. As such, to truly kill a god, once must first congregate their power by removing all their Aspects.
