Alyssa Baamen
Human Path of the Ancestral Guardian Barbarian / Knowledge Domain Cleric
Very few people would guess the monstrous strength hidden in Alyssa Baamen. This polite young woman would appear more in place at a ball surrounded by the aristocracy of Estalia rather than the drinking holes that she normally is found in. Typically wearing her noted yellow dress, she is never seen without a large leather-bound book at her waist. Despite her unintimidating presence, anyone who seeks harm to her quickly discovers how such a young woman can travel alone.
As a descendant from the Baamen Tribe, Alyssa can use the powers of Barachiel to call on the powers of her ancestors. By allowing them to briefly possess her, she can call upon their lifetimes of combat experience. However, she does not have complete control over this power, resulting in a near-random selection of ancestor possession. Luckily, due to the harsh life in the Devil's Teeth Range, her lineage is full of battle-hardened warriors. When expecting a fight, she can be found sporting many various weapons strapped to her back, to allow for whatever ancestor to choose their preferred weapon.
