Wealding Senate
In practice, the wealding nation is an awkward marriage between a confederation of independent clans and an elected monarchy. The Wealding Senate has a representative from each Wealding clan and acts as a combination of a traditional legislative body and a forum to hemmer out inter-clan disputes or alliances. The senate represenative is often, but not always, the nominated heir to the clan lord.
