The Antiquities Session 4: Zendor wants the artifact.
General Summary
Mid Evening of Martius the 8th and Martius the 9th.
After meeting Zendor and discussing Sir Alfred Viken and the artifact, the party is given a task to assail a caravan of fine weapons and armor heading to Arpin for the "war effort" as a way to diminish Sir Alfred Viken's ranks. (Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave and Mispira later inform the group about the Cobalt Rangers and their Elite General, Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel, who would prove difficult to defeat) As for the artifact, they learn that it is in fact a key of some kind, one that Zendor himself is seeking. Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave and Mispira learn that her dear friend is in fact alive and Zendor sent her away to be a spy for Tritherion. Mispira got drunk (lost her wine-filled waterskin) and got sick on poorly cooked meats. Tinika Cogshiner failed to tell the party that Zendor would only let them stay if they agreed to help him. The party stayed the night. Next morning: Luther's omen: "The path is lined for life, the path is lined for death, the path is lined for return."
Tinika Cogshiner gets Warforged head chatting.
The party fought several half-ogres and one cyclops (Loot: Iron spikes, Warforged arm, mushroom pouch, bearskin rug, 8 javelins, 8 cyclops toes, cyclops eyeball). Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave warns the party of the parting message of the cyclops' spirit: "Be sure the Vow Tangible is not broken, otherwise the desert will rain with blood and all kingdoms will sunder." We leave the party, Leront Fènwa Norixx spotting the infamous giant cactus in the middle of Del'Rae Desert in the scorching heat of high noon.
