The Antiquities Session 17: Interigations & Fire Blood

General Summary

Back in the throne room with King Chaim Rokkeshod, the party was escorted with Harrile Harold the Fire Giant. Chaim Rokkeshod was curious as to why this fire giant wasn't dealt with. That's when Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave stated the party was wanting to have the Fire Giant report back because of tidings found within the city. Allie Fizzpebble stated she will interrogate Harrile Harold. Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave, Sir Parendor Moleva, Leront Fènwa Norixx, and Arnold Emit Veabraven volunteered to help with the interrogation. Heidi Roth and Tinika Cogshiner stayed back and enjoyed being alone in the throne chamber. Tinika Cogshiner started to pull out all her alchemy supplies to start making bombs right in the middle of the throne room. Heidi Roth saw this happening and tried to stop the little exploding goblin from causing destruction in the throne room by picking her up along with her belongings. While doing so a vial of acid falls and Heidi Roth catches it just in time however it still gets a crack in the glass vial. She then takes the vial and buries it into a potted plant near by. Then they headed over to the door to the forge that was closed. They struggled to get it open but Tinika Cogshiner's steel defender warforged creation Emmit opened the door with extra finesse. The two split up and decided to do their own things. Heidi Roth went shopping for a few things and Tinika Cogshiner ended up crafting some hand grenades and a shrapnel grenades.

In the interrogation room the few learned that the fire giant was part of a scouting party researching Rhineforrel. Its been some time since the Fire Giants deep within the underdark of the The Indigotion Mountains has some dwarves from Rhineforrel working within their deep mines. It was unfortunate that they were taken out via purple worm or they would have procured some dwarves. The party learned a few other things about purple worms and how some of the Drow have learned to harness purple worms to traverse safely and to mask their numbers. While the interrogation was heavily underway Leront Fènwa Norixx and Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave heard a feminine voice near their location. They left to investigate and noticed that there was just a slide hole for eyes to peek into a cell. The voice tried to be seductive to pull in someone into their cell. Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave and Leront Fènwa Norixx chose to not investigate further. After the interrogation Leront Fènwa Norixx touched the fire giant causing the giant to try and swat a bug at its leg.

After the party left the interrogation room Leront Fènwa Norixx drank one of the newly procured vials of fire giant blood. After that Leront Fènwa Norixx and the rest of the party went back to their place they are staying. A few noticed that he was more buff then he was before. He then challenged Arnold Emit Veabraven to an arm wrestling match. Normally Leront Fènwa Norixx wouldn't be able to beat Arnold Emit Veabraven but he did this time. Others noticed that his shadow looked like the fire giant. After all this fun the party went to sleep and woke up the next day to start crafting again.
