Personal history
Eryel's earliest memory was looking up at the stars while resting in a wheat field. The Goddess's Savannah is full of wheat fields, especially near the Alter for the Great Cat Goddess, where she was relaxing. Some cubs of the New Moon Clan came up to her and asked if she saw the dragon that flew towards the Alter for the Great Cat Goddess. Eryel just looked at the cubs. Eryel hadn't seen any dragon. The cubs asked her to join them on the hunt for a gift for the Great Cat Goddess.
Eryel spent time with the Tabaxi of the New Moon Clan. However, she felt drawn towards the sea. She traveled to Pale Water and snuck on a ship. This ship she snuck on was heading to Amberwatch. While on the boat, she was found and told to get off the vessel. The vessel was still in port. Eryel wanted to go, so she busted out her Half-Elf charm. She was able to convince the sailors to allow her to travel to Amberwatch. She even convinces them to pay her to clean and cook.
After anchoring in the port of Amberwatch, she caught the eye of Rewill Pyle. She immediately fell in love with him. However, something more primal activated in her soul, and she remembered the time she was resting in the wheat field. The cubs were asking about the dragon. She realized that she did indeed see the dragon flying to the Alter for the Great Cat Goddess. However, that dragon never made it to the Alter for the Great Cat Goddess. Instead, it landed in a field and started to look up at the stars. Eryel's eyes widened at the realization; she was the dragon, and this only meant the urchin Rewill Pyle was her lifelong mate and companion.
The thing about steel dragons is that they only mate and reproduce when they find each other. However, female steel dragons have an ability that helps identify their mates. Significantly, if a steel dragon's mate shifted lives, this would be the only way to find them again. So Eryel knew Rewill Pyle was a steel dragon. So she had to become his friend. So with her lovely charm was able to join Rewill Pyle's band of urchins. She even charmed her way to his right-hand side.
By the time she was about the Half-Elf age of 18 she noticed a change in Rewill Pyle. She noticed in his eyes that he remembered his true self. So, Eryel did everything she could to try and allow Rewill Pyle to open up and embrace her with the truth. After some time and impaitence with Rewill Pyle she just took matters into her own hand.
Eryel convinced Rewill Pyle to travel to the abondoned tower in Amberwatch. At the top of the tower she confronted Rewill Pyle about the truth. It felt like the two where communicating in circles until Eryel just shifted into her steel dragon form. Dumbfounded Rewill Pyle just looked at her. Eryel then stated to him are you going to join me, and he then shifted to his steel dragon form. After this Eryel and Rewill Pyle set off on the high seas and became Captian and First Mate of the Misty Miracle.
