Brewmaster

Qualifications

For a Master Artisan to become a Brewmaster, they have to meet the ultimate test. This test is that their crafted drink becomes popular enough around the Continent of Renstrom. They have to do this with just a cart and a traveling brew station. They are only set out with the supplies from their home brewery to recreate their drinks in every location. The Brew Masters Order disqualifies any brewmaster that tries to buy any form of extra aid to acquire their status.

Requirements

There are five requirements a brewmaster has to have before acquiring the brewmaster rank. These requirements are a scholar of brew, Apprentice/Assistant, build, Journeyman/Fellow, brew & teach, with the last becoming a Master Artisan. After finishing all five of these requirements, one will undergo the Brew Masters Order test to become a brewmaster.

Scholar of Brew

To accomplish this requirement, one will have to study herbalism and alchemy. In addition, one will need to know a basic understanding of how various herbs, grains, and liquids mix. After this requirement, the person training to become a brewmaster is called a scholar of brew.

Apprentice/Assistant

After becoming a scholar of brew, they have to train under a Journeyman/Fellow or even a Master Artisan for a year. After this time, they can acquire the rank of Apprentice/Assistant. They are also not allowed to make any brew of their own.

Build

After becoming an Apprentice/Assistant, they will need to find a location to produce their brews. They will also need to start crafting their brewmaster trial cart. The trial cart will be the primary means of travel to their next training secessions.

Journeyman/Fellow

After they have finished building their brewmaster trail cart and finding a location for their future brewery, they will need to train under a Master Artisan. The techniques learned will allow one to acquire the rank Journeyman/Fellow and start testing their skills in a brewery.

Brew & Teach

After becoming a Journeyman/Fellow, the future brewmaster will have to practice all the techniques of brewing they have learned on their own. They will also start brewing various types of brews. They will also need to begin training ten scholars of brew to Apprentice/Assistant. After all this, they should have a brew ready to be presented to a Master Artisan.

Master Artisan

After presenting their brew to a Master Artisan. They will undergo more specialized training with their peers and working closely with various brewmasters. In this time, they will need to train ten more scholars. Once they have their brew given the all-clear by an official brewmaster, they receive the rank of Master Artisan. They can now proceed to the Brew Masters Order trial.

Benefits

After acquiring the rank of brewmaster, one will have access to various Brew Masters Order locations. These locations are where one can receive additional training and skilled workers willing to learn how to brew.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If the Brew Masters Order ever finds out of a potential brewmaster paying for any additional aid or giving/taking bribes, one will lose their membership from the Brew Masters Order. They will also lose their brewmaster rank and will place a strain on their overall artisian abilities.
