Overview
A shielding vessel of the Aegis Convoy is one of six escort vehicles for space travel. The six escort vehicles are explicitly designed to take hits and defend the massive Aegis Convoy. If one shielding vessel crashes or gets destroyed, the rest of the convoy keeps note of the location and tries to finish the mission.Mission
Aegis CSV IV was assigned to escort an Aegis Convoy across the deep astral sea. Its primary mission was to aid the Giff in finding a new home. Unfortunately, their original homeworld was destroyed by Astral Dreadnoughts. This was retaliation as the Giff tried to hunt and harvest the Astral Dreadnoughts to feed their planet. Unfortunately, a group of them came and destroyed their homeworld Aegis. The Giff on Aegis all died, but the remaining Giff returned home to find their devastated world and set off on a new mission.The Ambush
The Aegis Convoy was, in return, hunted by Astral Dreadnoughts. Some force was manipulating the minds of the Astral Dreadnoughts to seek out the remaining Aegis on blood lust. The one seeking revenge was an Astral Dragon who was evicted from Aegis when the Giff arrived to settle their back when it was younger. Once it was more robust, it sought out revenge to acquire its homeworld back. However, they ended up losing their home as well as the Giff. So they vowed to end all Giff's presence because it was their fault. After the last Astral Dreadnought was killed, the Aegis Convoy set off quickly without undergoing an entire repair cycle on all units. That was until the Astral Dragon came and started to attack.Crash & S.O.S
Aegis CSV IV was the most damaged. However, it could take on the Astral Dragon long enough for the remaining Aegis Convoy to escape. In landing the killing blow on the Astral Dragon, the shielding vessel started to have all life systems fail. The Captain of Aegis CSV IV spotted a planet in the distance. In the emergency descent to the planet below and fending the Astral Dragon dragon off. Parts of the vessel exploded and crashed in different locations on the planet below. The central part of the vessel and the remaining crew crashed near a river that is near a massive volcano. They are learning about flora and fauna around the crash site and set up a new outpost with the remains of the Aegis CSV IV.Aegis Colony
What remains of the Aegis CSV IV and survivors of the crash after the fight in the astral sea? The survivors were able to scrap the vessel to create some main structures. The survivors learned they crashed on the World of Stendaaris and are on the edge of a place called the The Harvestors Paradise. The creatures in this region have led to some exciting and dangerous hunting expeditions. These hunting expeditions excite the @Giff while they attempt to reach out to their kin for any sign of rescue.Weapons & Armament
Feota's Ballistic Cannon
This is a heavily blessed ballistic cannon. It was provided to the ship as a primary defense weapon. It came in clutch when the Aegis Convoy was attacked by an astral dreadnought. It was able to fend off the attack along with the other armaments and six other shielding vessels. That was until it fired its last cannon at an astral dragon that ambushed the Aegis Convoy after the dreadnought fight. It then exploded and fell off of its housing, and crashed to a planet below.Fox's Artillery Battery
This artillery battery housed all the armory for the crew. It also housed the special forces unit named the Fox Company. This unit housed a close nit family that failed to survive the ambush and crash of the Aegis Convoy. All the Aegis Convoy survivors believe this because the artillery battery and the ballistic cannon got blown off the shielding vessel. They also haven't found any of the Fox Company among the survivors.Shadow's Artillery Battery
This artillery battery was the primary weapon stash for all the defenses on the shielding vessel. Another special forces unit, the Shadows Company, maintains these stockrooms and weapons. This unit specialized in close-quarters fire armaments.Armor and defense
Yenu's Shield Generator
The cheif science station was run by Yenu. Here houses all the weapon designs and chemical components to create the ammo used by the Aegis Convoy Shielding Vessel. When the ambush hit the Aegis Convoy, the shields didn't recharge fully after the dreadnought fight. So this allowed the astral dragon to damage a majority of all life systems and weapon systems.
