Vikkvasa

Vikkvasa is the religion or set of beliefs held by the Dracanis of Oskksul. It is a pantheon of three gods: Akkasarani (the Sky-Queen), Sarajikk (the Earth-King), and Tatokkpani (the Sea-God). The three deities are equally important but reflecting the dracanic matriarchal society, Akkasarani is the most dominant of the three.

Tenets of Faith

Followers of Vikkvasa are polytheistic and believe in the existance of other deities alongside their own; they will almost all worship the Vikkvasian triad but some worship the gods of other religions equally alongside. Vikkvasian worship is joyful and entwined in their everyday lives. Teachings of this religion focus on spreading peace, living in harmony, selflessness, diligence, bravery, and temperance.

Clergy

There are no female Vikkvasian clergy. Due to the dracanic birthrate of 5:4:1 (males, hermaphrodites, females), and the role of the females as the head of the family unit in their society, it is simply unheard of. Clergy can however be either male or hermaphrodite, and are usually trained from childhood to the religious life.

Mythology

According to Vikkvasian mythology, their trio of deities have simply always been, as the world itself has always been. Rather than creation of the world, their myths revolve around the creation of the Dracanis.

The crest or symbol of Vikkvasa is created by three interlocking winged shapes. The shapes can vary by artist.
