Royal University of Delryn
The University of Delryn is the biggest institution of higher learning in the Kingdom of Delryn. It is located near the capital of the Kingdom, in aptly named Booktown. The University is supported and funded by the Royal family, but they have been famously hands-off in the day-to-day running of the place, giving the Board and the Chancellor great freedom over the college itself.
Structure
Board of Trustees - The Royal University has a Board of Trustees. They are wealthy alumni and secondary donors, Professors emeriti, and at least one representative appointed by the Crown.
Chancellor - The Board chooses a Chancellor, who is in charge of the day-to-day running of the college, though they work in close conjunction with the Board.
School Heads - The University is broken into several different Schools of learning; each has a a Head of School, a professor who is in charge of that School.
Professors - The teaching staff of the University.
Leats - Coming from a shortening of "learning teachers", more advanced students or recent graduates who are recruited to tutor, help teach classes, and generally assist the faculty are referred to as Leats at the University.
Students - The bread and butter of the University - the learners.

Culture
Students earn their place at the University through their grades at their preparatory schools, or through testing. There is no tuition, so all students are on an even footing financially. The culture is one of competition for the best grades, internships, and research opportunities but cooperative in learning for all.
Public Agenda
The agenda of the Royal University is education and research. It is funded by the crown, so tuition is free for any citizen who passes the entrance exams and then continues to pass their courses.
