Kellyn

Kellyn, god/dess of magic, mischief and fate, is one of the Aethertide Pantheon's minor dieties alongside their many siblings. According to the beliefs of Tideans, they are the children of the major deities Meari (goddess of the sea) and Rhagnar (god of the sky).

Description

Kellyn, like most of the minor Tidean deities, is usually depicted as part-Marelis part-human, with the exact breakdown falling to the individual. They are androgynous, and when human, most often shown with curly strawberry-blonde or red hair and green eyes, and tends to be on the greener shades of the Marelis spectrum. They are short, slight, and lithe.

Personality

Kellyn is mercurial, mischievious, and lively. They remain childlike despite being "an ancient deity". They can be intensely loyal to their followers but that doesn't mean predictable - or that their 'help' will come in ways you like or appreciate.

Worshippers, Clergy, and Temples

Kellyn is usually worshipped by magic-users and invoked in situtions that are inextricably tied to an outcome of fate. They are also the Tidean's version of a trickster god, and held responsible for mischief and mayhem. Those who cause too much of the above may be accused of being "too close to the heart of Kellyn".

Clergy
Most clergy are general Aetherwalkers or Walkers who serve the entire Pantheon and live in their home communities. A few may be particularly devoted to Kellyn specifically, and serve them as traveling clergy or in the temples where Walkers receive their formal training before taking vows.

Special Orders and Sects

The Chosen
The vast majority of Walkers are fairly run-of-the-mill clergy, going about their business with a lot of training and maybe a small amount of divine help. But Clerics and Paladins are not unheard of; those who seem to have a more direct line of communication and aid from the deities.
