Common Myths and Legends
According to the Kobolds, the gnomish deity, Garl Glittergold, collapsed the cave of the Kobold god, Kurtulmak, because the gnome god saw that they were likely to become the dominant race in the world. The draconic god, Io, offered Kurtulmak the chance to become the god of his race or to give him the strength to clear the mine. Kurtulmak chose to lead his race in the form of a god. The Gnomes, naturally, have their own version of the myth which casts their god in a considerably better light.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Dragons are worshiped as gods. Kobolds hate Gnomes due to a "prank" a Gnome god played on a god of the Kobolds.

The tail will be an big problem in a battle, someone can grab it (will be cool if they will put there tails like sajans from dragon Ball, around the belt )
Very true. However, the tail could also have a weapon attached to it, say an ax head for example? At that point, it becomes another limb with a weapon.
But will be very inefficient, you need a pretty big force to make an axe eficienta and also the tail can be dangerous for the other lizards because they probably don't see in there back
Only thing that will work is to use the tail like an 3rd foot for extra support (but it's depend on the tail size, if the tail or short they will can't use it like an foot )
All valid points. I will leave it to the Story Teller / GM / DM to decide how to factor all this in. In my campaign though, I will probably replace the ax head for a spear tip that the creature uses in stabbing motions against enemies.
I there is no formation and the lizard is alone it can be a viable option, I always try to balance the cool factor with the efficiency of an things and right now I think that into a war, into all large military unit and weapon that is especially made for your back is more dangerous for the soldiers from your army that are in your back that it will be for the soldiers in front of you of the other army, if you try to pull an sword into the right the tail axe will go into the left and hurt the soldier from your back left, this will be a great weapon if you are singe and the enamy is surrounding you but not into an war.
Also you know on what position are your legs when you strike with an sword? The perfect poziti in which the axe will hit you own leg ,so not only make the sword and axe unless but also make very hard to use an shield with not cutting your legs, when I think more about it this tail axe became more dangerous to the own army
Ah I see. I brought the race in not for a militaristic goal but rather a clan like society that does its own thing. Not apart of a great nation as it were.
Ewen if are only 2 lizard-dudes this weapon will be dangerous for the team, this is why you don't see the Knights with spikes all over there armour
And try to not hit yourself in the legs with the axe
