Personal history
A powerful member of the Princes of Hell who serves Lucifer. He is the current tyrannical leader of the demon world.
Azazel takes pleasure in inflicting pain (whether psychological or physical) onto others. Having a sadistic sense of humor, he likes to play with his victims' emotions by convincing them that their worst fears were true before he killed them. Strangely, unlike many Demons, Azazel rarely kills when it is unnecessary. However, Azazel has no regard for human life and frequently uses murder to motivate the actions of his targets. He will gloat to his victims, often monologuing about his victory, before killing them.
Azazel is smug and self-assured of his own power. His arrogance will compel him to endanger his own life simply for the sake of making a point. He will show open amusement at the idea of anyone succeeding at killing him and would taunt the person who threatens to do so. He is highly manipulative and cunning. He will take advantage of any opportunity he can.
Azazel will quickly modify his plans to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. He relishes bending others to his will. Azazel is skilled at manipulation and corruption and will easily succeed in convincing others to give in to their darkest emotions and further his goals.
Azazel views his fellow Demons as his family; he genuinely regard his followers as his "children" and will be enraged if a hunter kills or exorcises one. Most Demons fear Azazel and consider him a cruel tyrant, even the Seven Deadly Sins fear him for his capabilities. Azazel is also deeply loyal to his father, Lucifer, whom he continues to believe in and search for even when most Demons have given up. He holds these "non-believers" in contempt, calling them "dickless heathens." He has devoted himself to the task of freeing Lucifer, a mission he will gladly die to achieve.
Azazel will show great caution when dealing with more powerful foes such as Angels and will be cunning enough to cover his tracks and his ultimate goal from the Angel grunts of Heaven, extremely thoroughly.
According to his brother Ramiel, Azazel is a fanatic and the only one of the Princes of Hell who ultimately still cares about Lucifer's plans.
