Scope

The motivation behind building World of Arsteria

The world I'm creating is going to be used in my writing, and it will stand as the foundation of stories that come to mind.

The goal of the project

I want to create to a universe that feels vibrant and alive. I want to transport readers to a world of magic and mystery, where adventure isn't a massive feature of ones life but instead a normal WAY of life. What is a world with magic and dangers like with both magic and the creativity that humans have displayed for so long.

World of Arsteria's Unique Selling point

My intention is to create a world where magic and machine are present and unique to the individual. Magic is interwoven with machine, but also individually researched and utilized.

Theme

Genre

The general sense of overall life is similar to middle ages eastern & western societies. However magic has progressed the creation of ideas further than expected. Cities and Capitals are otherworldly in their advancement in comparison to their local Villages, Towns, and lesser settlements.

Reader Experience

I want the overall feel to be intriguing but dangerous enough to cause hesitation. Willing to open the creaking basement door after giving only a moment to the consideration of the outcome.

Character Agency

My characters are actively working against my intentions. I swear I don't make them like this, but I'm cursed to it.
