Kesotaru Procedure/Circlet

Resulting from the constant need for more magical means of assisting to combat the growth of injuries. The Kesotaru Circlet aids medics in fighting mutations resulting from wounds suffered during encounters with creatures of death and darkness. Though some uses of the spell and function have been abused for unsavory means, the majority of uses have gone on to help enumerable peoples to come.

Utility

The spell dampens the workings of internal energy, this has allows medics to work more carefully against the strange mutations ethereal energy can cause. The Age of Copper & Bronze saw an increase in the amount of skirmishes the Brigades would suffer, as well as increasing the amount of encounters with the normal dangerous creatures.

Manufacturing

Smiths must use a ratio of 5:1 Null Material to Infused Material, the inscribed spell must be written by an arcanist of some power.
Inventor(s)
Kesotaru was a Knight Officer of the Jasperlot Academy, during the war against the Royal Triumvirate of the Desert Sea they were stationed at Wasteshade Keep.
Access & Availability
Upon completion of the procedure a letter was written and sent to explain its workings. After being tested & inspected thoroughly the procedure was spread to all Cities and Towns with registered medical facilities. Additionally, the Imperial Military placed orders for circlets containing engravings of the assisting spell.
Complexity
The procedure requires the assistance of arcane/ethereal energy, acquired by personal use or through other means. Circlets are simpler, but require slightly more energy, and need only secure the circlet upon the patient.
Discovery
Kesotaru of Jasperlot, was stationed alongside the Brigades of Wasteshade against the desert peoples. During their time there Kesotaru worked with Arcanists and other medical minded scholars to develop a way to remove some of the more dangerous and strange mutations. The mutations usually result from a bite, claw slash, or other such wound opening during encounters with creatures of the death and darkness.
