Crestfell Powder Cannon
The Earliest Imperial Designs for Blasting Powder Cannons used by the Royal Imperial navy. Introduced by a Captian Egyan in the early 730's and famously used against the Extinct Pirates of the Free Coasts.
Access & Availability
Due to cost and Military usage, the Cannon is limited to the military members and higher nobility throughout the Empire originally. Eventually becoming nearly synonymous with naval combat by the turn of the 800's.
Discovery
Originally designed to help in mining and siege efforts, variations of the early designs were found throughout the Kingdoms and Peoples of the Empire. Its first adopted version comes from the Pirate Captain Egyan and his family of smiths, eventually giving the plans over to Imperial Researchers in order to earn amnesty and repel the Pirate hoard.
