Rhoven Lowlands

The Rhoven Lowlands (or the Northern Lowlands) is a wide swath of land north of the Korlon Hills. The lowlands are sparsely settled and hosts a number of semi-migratory clans called the Rhoven who claim the hills and valleys of the region. The land here isn't good for agriculture, and the clans have always survived by hunting and herding. The clans are loosely related to the northern Jendarri clans, and tend to have light skin, blonde or light-brown hair, while red hair is less common, it is considered a sign of favor from the spirits.
Each clan has a "home" village, which is more of a way-station and trading post for most. The clans travel with their herds, or follow the hunt across a large area surrounding their home village. Clan members not fit for travel stay in the village and raise the few crops that supplement the clan's diet. Each family of the clan leaves a small band in the village for protection, rotating these bands in year-long shifts to prevent boredom.
The largest settlement is Perynhall, governed by Clan Velgryss, a staunch supporter and ally of Brineven.
