Perynhall

Stedding Perynhall (originally called Velgrsted) was a growing settlement west of the Iron Hills in the Rhovan Lowlands. Founded on the edge of Lake Colvain by Peryn Velgryss, Perynhall became a frequent stopping point for Brin caravans heading to the new province of Hawkmoon once that province was founded. Peryn founded Perynhall after gathering clans together to meet and defeat the indigenous orcs and goblins of the area. On the site of what is now Perynhall, he ordered construction of a great keep. When the keep was burned down by raiding orcs, they rebuilt with the aid of the Brineven King. Perynhall has also been the center of Nordic faith. The Totem Lodge outside of town is a meeting place for those of the Old Faith. Here warriors and wise men alike seek to touch the power of their totem spirits. In addition, Gatekeeper Druids pass through town with an amazing frequency, reminding folk that demons, devils, and worse ever seek to pierce the Veil and enter the world.
