A sect of cultists operating in the Alliance for New Age Legionnaires military believes that awakening Ny'golath would end the Great War by granting them the power to defeat their enemies.

This sect had uncovered an artifact vital in a ritual which would awaken their eldritch deity. They were confronted in a natural cavern known as the Basilisk's Mouth by an alliance squad unkowingly charged with delivering them the artifact they sought.
