The Njord Class Freighter (N-yord)

The Njord is a class of freighter ship built in the Woodangees state naval yards in Port Leonidas, Tynica, and is the primary ship used in shipping goods around the different islands. With Woodangees as a nation being an archipelago, or made up of multiple islands, the ability to transport food and other essentials between the islands is essential to maintaining the standard of living throughout the nation. Njord class ships are a common sight for any Woodangian who lives in a major port city, and any dock worker in the country has set foot on board one numerous times.
Due to it's size and carrying capacity the Njord is classified as a Feeder Ship, which is the smallest class of freighter. It's size is due to only being used for internal shipping, and rarely being used to transport good outside of the country. It's size also aids in shipping to the smaller islands, with not every island having a large port, the Njord needs to be able to deliver to every island. There are currently 8 Njord class Freighters in operation, with the oldest being 25 years old and the newest being 12 years old. So far a total of 10 Njord class ships were created, with two of them having been decommissioned due to damage, one of which is still half submerged just off the coast of Predator Island.
