Kingdom Brillis
Kingdom Brillis is one of the thirteen kingdoms that make up the Empire of Roscrea. It is nestled within the southeastern corner of the Empire, within the region of Greater Frond. Its capital city is Mordenhust, a city that is an epitome of Frondian culture.
Kingdom Brillis is one of the two River Kingdoms that sits upon Lake Frond and has a great maritime culture and reverence for the lake. The kingdom also has a prominent mining industry, as it has hills that stretch from the Auborn Hills that are rich with ore.
Kingdom Brillis is also home to the Celestial Crown, a crown forged by the Bright Wizards of the College of Lumenos with a piece of the Fount of Illumination. Many people refer to the king of Kingdom Brillis as the "Bright King", because of the shine of his crown. The crown has also led to a following of the god, Lumen, throughout the kingdom.
Active within the region are the Silver Wardens, which are a group of Impartial Divinities that have taken a mantle of protection to maintain Boreus, and seal any portal to the Twisted Realm, but often battle with mortals, as they believe that mortals destablize the fabric of reality. Because of this, both Kingdoms Brillis and Dvery have funded "Warden Hunting" guilds to dispel the Silver Wardens.
Geography
Its southern section of the Ordxer Forest is a hilly and dangerous region where little of its populace have settled. It is rumored that the capital of the Vardux Empire, Warmasem, lay in the region. Other locales in the dangerous Ordxer Forest include Faun's Rest, a place rich with the native fauns, Twisted Reach, a meeting place for local warlock and witch covens, and the mysterious ruins of the Spire of Saber.History
