Jasper Bloodforge

Jasper is the older brother of Flint Bloodforge. He is an Eladrin Elf, native to the Feywild. Jasper was trained from birth to become a member of the Minuo Venari, an order of supernatural bounty hunters sworn to hunt evil across the planes of existence.
By the time Jasper had reached the age to take his trials to join the ranks of the Minuo Venari, Jasper had displayed a cruel streak and compromised morals. The trials are a very secretive ordeal that is a closely guarded secret of only a select few in the order. It evaluates a mix of martial and Arcane proficiency, but more importantly it also judges moral judgment and compassion.
Despite showing excellent martial and arcane proficiency, Jasper Bloodforge failed the most important part of the trial, showing a great deficiency in moral fortitude. Jasper had failed the trials and fled in anger and shame.
Jasper was convinced that the trials had been rigged against him by his family elders who had warned him over and over again that he lacked the proper temperament to join the Minuo Venari. Jasper became even more twisted by misplaced rage which caused him to recklessly seek power from the very evil things he had been training to hunt.
Jasper had caught the attention of Kanchelsis, Lord-God and Sire of all Vampires. Kancheisis took Jasper's pledge of eternal servitude in exchange for the power to exact his revenge upon his family. Jasper was turned into a Vampire and taught the dark secrets of witchcraft, becoming a Warlock devote.
A few years after Jasper's disappearance from the Feywild after failing his trials, he returned to his families mansion. Jasper used dark magics to bind his family within the mansion and then burned the entire structure down with hellfire as his family struggled against shadowy bindings inside.
Jasper was irritated to discover a short time later that his younger brother Flint had escaped the flames thanks to aid from their Grandfather Ignis Bloodforge who had always liked Flint more than Jasper. Somehow the old wizard had countered Jasper's bindings and helped Flint escape from a secret exit in his workshop Jasper had not known about. Jasper took a small amount of comfort in knowing that at least his grandfather had died helping Flint escape.
Now from time to time Jasper enjoys toying with Flint's pathetic attempts to hunt his evil older brother in between carrying out important missions for Jasper's Master Kanchisis.
