Dramatis Personae

(Author's Note: Most of this is under construction, bear with the mess.)

Mercenary Files

The Mercenary Review Board tends to keep files on members of mercenary outfits, occasionally little more than a collection of personal data given by the individual in question at the time they officially join an outfit. Sometimes, however, those files are a little more involved and contain plenty of information which is restricted from casual viewers. What follows from this point are small pieces of said files regarding those involved in the so-called 'White Reach Incident'.

Priam Company

"We just stole a BattleMaster with nothing but paperwork."
"Well looks like I picked the right unit to sign on with. Think we can get a JumpShip with a nice word and a C-Bill?"
"Want to find out?"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world."

Founding Members

Mikell Sethan

  • Affiliation: Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth, Tamar March Militia
  • Rank: Private
  • Date of Birth: October 3, 3003
  • Homeworld: Unknown
  • Height: 175 centimeters
  • Weight: 80 kilograms
  • Hair: Dark Brown
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Caucasian, Eastern European
Mikell Sethan is evasive about his past, giving very few answers about how he acquired enough capital to begin a mercenary outfit. Questions about how he acquired five BattleMechs in good condition (and a Leopard-class Dropship) are almost always deflected or outright stonewalled, leading to rampant speculation about who he "really" is. The truth is sealed up in records belonging to the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth, under clearance so high it's suspected they simply burned the records so nobody could read them.

He is concerned about his responsibility to his outfit's members, and riding the balancing act between that concern and the need to secure a steady income from contracts has him often harried and raw at the edges. Only a handful of people know him well enough to translate often terse responses into more diplomatic speak, and his attitude has cost him some contract opportunities from powers outside Commonwealth space. This seems to suit him fine, though he does not necessarily follow FedCom interests with his own actions.   Authorization Rho XI required.
While it is fairly obvious to most analysts involved with the MRB the identity of 'Mikell Sethan' is highly questionable, it is important not to look too closely here. It is believed this identity is an alias for someone who has been intent on eluding our attention for some time now. Any time increased scrutiny was brought to bear in the past, the identity in use was burned and discarded while a new one would arise several systems away almost immediately. Proving any of these identities as false has cost analysts a great deal of time and effort, and complete certainty has not been assured in any of these investigations. Because of this, the following order is in place. Monitor and report only. Do not attempt to investigate deeper. Do not inhibit operations of Priam Company in any way. Failure to comply will result in severe disciplinary action.

Reginald Brand

  • Affiliation: Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth, First Lyran Regulars
  • Rank: First Leutnant
  • Date of Birth: December 23, 2991
  • Homeworld: Arcturus V
  • Height: 179 centimeters
  • Weight: 75 kilograms
  • Hair: Sandy Brown
  • Eyes: Amber
  • Racial Type: Caucasian, Central European
Sandy-haired, broad of build, taciturn. These things are more obvious about Reginald Brand, along with his affinity for speaking in laconic sentences if pressed for input. One of the founders of Priam Company, he owns his BattleMech and is almost always seen in his free time working with a few technicians to keep it in top shape despite the age of it. In battle, he often takes a flanking approach and tries to hold off advances while providing a tactical analysis with what he can see.

Most of Reginald's history is known. He grew up always intending to join the armed forces and tested high enough to be trained as a 'MechWarrior. He was gifted with heavier models, his performance deteriorating notably in faster, lighter 'Mechs on the training ground. His grasp of tactics led to him being given a commission as Leutnant and a lance to lead against forces of the Draconis Combine in the Third Succession War. In the Tamar March, he quickly was able to judge whether or not his unit could do any good and convinced his superiors through his record that following his tactical advice during deployment was a sound idea. However, he almost always deferred strategic advice to those who had more experience (or were assumed to have more), preferring to work on a smaller stage.

After a battle on Twycross, he resigned his commission and entered into creating Priam Company carefully. He refused a position of lance command, saying it should fall to Mikell first. After several missions, newer members found him very helpful to learn from and he made an impromptu training class in the simulators to train 'MechWarriors in learning their machines.   Authorization Delta I Required
Reginald Brand is obviously little more than he appears to be documented as, but there is an incident regarding a direct order was ignored on Romulus. His superior officer filed a number of requests for disciplinary action which were never followed up on, nor even apparently considered. More concerning is how the Lyran Intelligence Corps have seen fit to classify large parts of his operational record, when it is doubtful anything other than a standard fare exists. Use caution when dealing with Reginald Brand until more information is available.

Olivia Garrido

  • Affiliation: Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth, First Lyran Regulars
  • Rank: Leutnant
  • Date of Birth: August 16, 3004
  • Homeworld: (Data Not Found)
  • Height: 172 centimeters
  • Weight: 49 kilograms
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Hazel
Olivia Garrido is a slim woman of light olive skin, a little on the tall side for a 'MechWarrior. She keeps her dark hair cut to just below her earlobes and dresses often in the 'casual uniform' of Priam Company with the uniform jacket open. Her attitude is very cavalier, dancing the line between mockery and the barest polite she can be. This masks an interior which is honed, focused, always judging everyone she meets in case she has to fight them. She can very quickly scan someone with her eyes and determine what physical weaknesses to exploit, or after listening to them interact with people for a few minutes she will come up with a rough idea of how to guide the 'target' into actions she wants them to go into.

Olivia was a member of the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth, piloting BattleMechs during the final year of the Third Succession War. However, she was almost always openly disrespectful of her commanding officers to a point just shy of insubordination. This came to a head during a battle where she overrode her operational command and convinced the Lance Commander to withdraw from a battle which would have been incredibly costly. What exactly happened on the battlefield has been classified, with no apparent explanation. Olivia accepted her honorable discharge without protest and founded Priam Company with some other disgruntled AFFC members.   Authorization Delta III Required
Olivia Garrido's records, recovered from copies before the sealing, point to a personality who has a great distaste for authority. At least nine incidents in her career were resolved with minor disciplinary action, and one major incident was resolved prior to the unit being activated and assigned orders to travel to Csesztreg. After discovering incomplete or corrupted data in backup copies, it has been determined further investigation may be warranted by Rho Adepts.

Simone de Lagrande

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary, Tamar War College
  • Position: Cadet
  • Date of Birth: 3007
  • Homeworld: Tamar
  • Height: 160 centimeters
  • Weight: 43 kilograms
  • Hair: Dark Brown
  • Eyes: Hazel
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; Asian evident
Simone is slim, spritely, and often seen wandering in the company of her fellow cadet Casey Whiting. They were selected from the 3028 Class of Tamar War College, having left to pursue mercenary careers together despite not technically finishing training. Their skills needed a good deal of work initially, but after some serious action they were able to rapidly improve to the apparent extent of their talents. When Priam Company managed to assemble a second Lance, Simone was selected to receive the command position and begin molding them to suit the need for a fast reconnaissance Lance.   Authorization Delta II required
Simone's family is a major patron of the Tamar War College, and the family has reportedly chosen to take this as a disgraceful action. Records have shown she received a message explaining she is removed from all family affairs and was formally requested not to return home even posthumously. Since then, she has taken to wearing an additional tag on her necklace etched with the sentence "You cannot throw away that which leaves willingly".

Casey Whiting

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary, Tamar War College
  • Position: Cadet
  • Date of Birth: 3008
  • Homeworld: Tamar
  • Height: 142 centimeters
  • Weight: 40 kilograms
  • Hair: Blonde, Straw
  • Eyes: Blue-Gray
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; North African evident
Casey is short, and a hair less than 'stout' in physique. She tends to dress loosely to hide her exact shape, and rebuffs advances casually. She focuses most of her energies into learning everything she can about being a 'MechWarrior and trying to round out her training with small arms practice. Asked why, she commented "it would be good to know I'm still dangerous out of a 'Mech cockpit". As a recent graduate of the Tamar War College, Casey Whiting and her friend Simone de Legrande opted to leave and go become mercenaries on Galatea. They didn't make it far before Priam Company found them and made them an offer to join up, and potentially earn their own BattleMechs.   Authorization Delta I required
Research into Casey Whiting has found she was potentially on the cusp of washing out from the class, placing just below Simone who was just barely going to pass the final cut. It is evident it is a lack of skill instead of a lack of talent, as her time with Priam Company has shown she has an aptitude for piloting Light or Medium-class BattleMechs.

Otto Greene

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary
  • Position: Cadet
  • Date of Birth: 3009
  • Homeworld: Somerset
  • Height: 165 centimeters
  • Weight: 66 kilograms
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Green
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; Northern European evident
Otto is a slim curly-haired man who has a hot temper and a penchant for seeking trouble. He was placing very poorly in his training class, and would probably have washed out if he wasn't tapped for an interview with Commander Sethan to join an expanding Priam Company. He grumbles a lot about not seeing action, ignoring rebuttals that it means he's not being shot at or risking his life yet. Asked about his homeworld, he tends to proclaim he was happy to get away from it and into somewhere which would afford him a shot at 'real action'.

"Vandal" Grey

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary
  • Position: MechWarrior, Scout Specialist
  • Date of Birth: 2998
  • Homeworld: (Data Not Found)
  • Height: 174 centimeters
  • Weight: 51 kilograms
  • Hair: Auburn
  • Eyes: Grey
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
'Vandal' Grey is an odd case, having admittedly bounced around the Inner Sphere considerably and been in many different battles. However, he is a mercenary soul, and hasn't always kept to the same employer. This also leads to Priam Company learning about various charges being held against him due to his activities, and he refuses to offer a comprehensive listing of where he has worked. A wise move, since it increasingly becomes apparent his old outfit was rather shady in how it handled its contracts. He hasn't named them, but from stories collected following warrants being served, there is enough to piece together a small picture.   Authorization Delta IV required
Naturally, with access to most of the records involved, we do know who 'Vandal' Grey is and there is cause for concern. At some point he was involved in an incident on Chateau inside the Draconis Combine which resulted in a strange sort of cooperative action between the Lyran Intelligence Corps and the Combine's Internal Security Force. Along with being wanted by the SAFE agency in the Free Worlds League, there are ample options for who to reveal his location to should it become necessary.

Kelly Sedda

  • Affiliation: Tamar War College
  • Position: Cadet
  • Date of Birth: 3008
  • Homeworld: (Data Not Found)
  • Height: 167 centimeters
  • Weight: 42 kilograms
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; North American evident
Kelly Sedda is a lean, wiry young woman who has an odd streak of white through her hair and eyes which always seem to stare right through someone. Her military records are hard to procure, but it is known she washed out of the Tamar War College. Her attitude seems to vary by day and whether or not she's in battle. Outside of the 'Mech she is seemingly scatterbrained and impossible to talk with for any length of time, but inside it she is incredibly focused on whatever she is instructed to do. Medical records suggest she suffers some sort of abnormal mental development, but nothing concrete has been produced in public records to discern just what that is. Authorization Kappa II Required
Kelly Sedda has been recognized as a very dangerous and unbalanced person, with a number of potential diagnoses for her issues. Attempts to diagnose her in the past by the Tamar War College ended poorly, with body counts and sealed documents. As such we must remark not to provoke her, under any circumstances.

Aubrey Duchen

  • Affiliation: Lyran Intelligence Corps
  • Position: Field Agent
  • Date of Birth: Classified
  • Homeworld: Classified
  • Height: 186 centimeters
  • Weight: 71 kilograms
  • Hair: Light Brown
  • Eyes: Hazel
  • Racial Type: Cacausian, Central European evident
Aubrey Duchen is a fascinating young man who joined Priam Company early on in their career and was quickly found out to belong to the Lyran Intelligence Corps. Despite this potential conflict of interests, Commander Sethan allowed him to stay on and later to pilot the valuable BattleMaster BLR-1G the unit employs. Between the most recent contract and arrival on White Reach, Aubrey was assigned to the Lance Commander position of Sagittarius Lance. With a moderately upbeat appraisal of the world, and a slightly jaded response to certain styles of polite evasion of detail, he winds up bringing an outsider's perspective to the shenanigans of Priam Company while off duty while remaining a valuable asset on the field of battle.   Authorization Rho I Required
Aubrey Duchen is an active field agent associated with the 'Norns' branch of the Corps, and has a great many connections which should guide us to be wary of how much they know. Or, as the case may be, how much they can find out. Under no circumstances permit this person access to any data which may lead to sensitive operations being discovered.

Recruits

Calvin Schrade

  • Affiliation: White Reach Militia, Schrade Highlanders
  • Position: 'MechWarrior
  • Date of Birth: September 5, 3010
  • Homeworld: Phalan
  • Height: 182 centimeters
  • Weight: 81 kilograms
  • Hair: Light Brown
  • Eyes: Hazel
  • Racial Type: Mixed Heritage, Caucasian evident
Calvin Schrade is descended from some of the first homesteaders who moved into the Schrade Highlands, and while many on White Reach can claim this fact it is a point of pride for Calvin's family they never left the Highlands after settling there. As part of the militia, the 'Schrade Highlanders' are notorious for keeping the peace in their territory with all the subtlety of a brick and about as much charm. Calvin is no exception, but is one of the handful of members who successfully tested for aptitude operating BattleMechs. After Priam Company became known for their defense of the Twelfth Ward, he answered the next request they put forth for new recruits.

Erik Porter

  • Affiliation: White Reach Militia, Pelea Irregulars, Priam Company
  • Position: 'MechWarrior
  • Date of Birth: May 12, 3006
  • Homeworld: Phalan
  • Height: 176 centimeters
  • Weight: 74 kilograms
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Grey
  • Racial Type: Caucasian
Erik Porter was born on White Reach, and like many residents he has never left the planet. Despite this, he has a high opinion of his 'worldliness' brought about through service to the militia for a decade. This did not prepare him for what conflict came to White Reach in the 3030s, nor did he expect the city itself to become a battleground. After months of investigating Priam Company, he volunteered to join them in the interests of defending his birthplace from any who saw it as a prize to be won or a stepping stone to greater things.

Alan Faust

  • Affiliation: Lucent Militia Reserves, Priam Company
  • Position: 'MechWarrior Reservist
  • Date of Birth: May 9, 3009
  • Homeworld: Sakhalin
  • Height: 174 centimeters
  • Weight: 60 kilogram
  • Hair: Red
  • Eyes: Grey
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry, Caucasian apparent
  • First Appearance: Campaign Round 14
Alan Faust is a resident of Vernier City and volunteers as a reserve militia member, having picked up the skills to pilot a BattleMech but never having seen even a minor combat action. The wiry and lean build lends itself well to being stuffed into a cockpit, but his demeanor is very lazy and almost uninterested in many things. He signed on with Priam Company as separatist demonstrations began breaking out across his city, intending to avoid being noticed. Alan also has been trying to keep his use of corrective contact lenses for his vision secret, believing it would be a mark against him.

Rugel "Brick" Hauser

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary, Priam Company
  • Position: 'MechWarrior
  • Date of Birth: April 26, 3007
  • Homeworld: Markesan
  • Height: 170 centimeters
  • Weight: 62 kilograms
  • Hair: Dark Red
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry, Germanic apparent
  • First Appearance: Campaign Round 11
Rugel Hauser jumped at the chance to become a mercenary, believing it to be a quick avenue to fame and fortune like so many younger people in his day. The Fourth Succession War was remarkably quick to begin and end, with Rugel having felt like a blunt object thrown at the enemy for little purpose. As so he took on the moniker 'Brick' before headed out to offer his services independently. Winding up on White Reach in 3030, he was surprised to find so many others who had arrived with similar ideas in mind but hung around and waited for an employer who could offer more substantial promises of payment. This came in the form of Priam Company catching wind of his presence and offering a contract for three years' employment.

Hired Guns

Arthur "Dead Ringer" Hendricks

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary, Priam Company
  • Position: 'MechWarrior
  • Date of Birth: October 11, 3009
  • Homeworld: Hesperus II
  • Height: 172 centimeters
  • Weight: 73 kilograms
  • Hair: Red (dyed)
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry
  • First Appearance: Campaign Round 10
Arthur Hendricks is a native of the Lyran Commonwealth, but his loyalty has been to the highest bidder for a long time. It's simply habitually been the Commonwealth who was the highest bidder for his services piloting his ancestral GRF-1N Griffin "Peregrine". He stands out with shockingly red hair (which he keeps dyed to retain the vivid color), and rather heavy build for a 'MechWarrior; he's had to make minor modifications to the cockpit interior to accommodate his size. Currently his services are being used by Priam Company, where he sees them as misfits who seem only just organized enough not to kill each other by accident. Despite this, he is content to follow instructions and get paid for his efforts.

"Gunslinger" Rodriguez

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary, Priam Company
  • Rank: Sniper 'Mech Specialist
  • Date of Birth: May 31, 2994
  • Homeworld: Oreste
  • Height: 185 centimeters
  • Weight: 87 kilograms
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Racial Type: Unknown, Eastern European evident
  • First Appearance: Campaign Round 13
"Gunslinger" Rodriguez has stopped giving his first name, going almost entirely by his moniker and last name. Hailing from Oreste in the Free Worlds League, his family heirloom MAD-3M Marauder is kept in good order even if the systems are calibrated for more long-range combat than standard. A portly man, he is also a veteran of some Rimward conflicts in the Aurigan Reach; interestingly enough he claims his "Peacemaker" was the only Marauder in the region. Currently he has signed on for a three-year tour of duty with Priam Company, having a chance to show off for the next generation.

Nicol "Cardiac" Kess

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary, Priam Company
  • Position: Light 'Mech Specialist
  • Date of Birth: March 20, 3001
  • Homeworld: Galedon
  • Height: 168 centimeters
  • Weight: 60 kilograms
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Asian
  • First Appearance: Campaign Round 13
Nicol Kess had a potentially useful career in the Galedon Regulars until she insulted the wrong person, after which her prospects for advancement dried up. Undaunted, she took her family JR7-D Jenner and went independent to the dismay of her living relatives. With her history in the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, she has a very healthy respect for the Jenner and Panther BattleMechs. On the battlefield, she tends to use "Polecat" as a flanking element, with or without orders to do so. Priam Company recently hired her on, intending to get some use out of her skills and to help teach another 'MechWarrior how to use the company's Jenner.

Non-Combatants

Irene Dreissen

  • Affiliation: Atlantis Medical Research Foundation
  • Position: Medical Doctor
  • Date of Birth: June 16th, 2998
  • Homeworld: Irian
  • Height: 188 centimeters
  • Weight: 50 kilograms
  • Hair: Honey Blonde
  • Eyes: Blue-Gray
  • Racial Type: Caucasian, Central European
Irene does not talk about her past, her family, or anything other than what patients need to do to avoid getting sick or having their problems get worse. She cuts a striking figure - tall, blonde, and with a faint accent nobody can seem to place. But her demeanor has earned her some distance from everyone, even the officers. She is almost always slightly put out by having to treat people for injuries sustained in combat, but becomes extremely angry if the injuries sustained could have been avoided.   Authorization Delta IX required
Investigation into Irene Dreissen reveals their family history is a tangled one, and a good amount of data actually missing leads to the conclusion Irene is not entirely who she claims to be. However, due to this lack of data there is no firm conclusions which can be drawn. The most compelling conclusion is her family being connected to rogue operations conducted in the late 30th century, which also explains the holes in data connected to the family.

Louis Sands

  • Affiliation: Priam Company, Coventry Metal Works, Trellshire Heavy Industries
  • Rank: Chief Warrant Officer
  • Date of Birth: May 6, 2992
  • Homeworld: Coventry III
  • Height: 170 centimeters
  • Weight: 74 kilograms
  • Hair: Dark Brown
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; North American evident
Louis Sands is a shorter, stout, strong man who has been working on BattleMechs for the better part of his lifetime and has a lot of other assorted general knowledge derived from the training he's had. He worked for a time with Coventry Metal Works in quality control, learning how to spot defects and fix issues before sending new BattleMechs out. He learned a lot from his supervisor, knowing how to draft and fabricate parts to fix some of these defects which couldn't just be patched or overlooked.

He wound up leaving Coventry Metal Works to get some training on other types of BattleMechs, hired on at Trellshire Heavy Industries after six months of looking. Here he ran into an older engineer who was more than willing to teach what he knew, and came to appreciate just how much he had to learn. While here, he ran into Commander Sethan and Reginald Brand after Priam Company had been founded and was pulled aside to be asked questions about his experience for almost an hour. At the end of the interview he was asked if he was interested on being attached to the mercenary company and training new technician crews. He agreed, though he noted it would be hard to acquire good talent. Mikell simply told him "that's why we acquire mediocre talent and train them well".   Authorization Alpha II Required
Louis Sands is one of four technicians on a list of authorized individuals to repair components of Hyperpulse Generators inside the Trellshire region. Records indicate he was never directly approached for such a task, but appraisals of his work indicate an attention to fine details and operational reality which are important - even critical - to repairs of HPG units. If necessary, have training packet #A1-773563 ready and be sure to authorize replacement for any caffeine-related dispensers in the station where work will be done.

Jade Denvers

  • Affiliation: Tharkad Broadcasting Service
  • Position: System Technician
  • Date of Birth: August 4, 2999
  • Homeworld: Tharkad
  • Height: 184 centimeters
  • Weight: 65 kilograms
  • Hair: Dirty Blonde
  • Eyes: Green-Gray
  • Racial Type: Caucasian, Central European
Jade is a tall blond woman with an unremarkable physique and a tendency to withdraw into working on minor projects which interest her alone. She has a gift for computers and information systems, knowing how to piece together information from both what data she can find as well as what data isn't available. Mikell won't say exactly how they knew each other, but they had met prior to forming Priam Company. Mikell offered her a job to act as the intelligence officer. "Basically what you do now, but being paid." A complete noncombatant, Jade has only used simulator time to shake out bugs in the systems and fix errors in unit data she uploaded. She also has shown an affinity for mixing drinks, so long as it starts with rum, and has made several concoctions which rival the infamous PPC for impact. Her specialties, however, are drinks which don't taste like alcohol and have the effect of sneaking up on you over the course of three drinks.   Authorization Omega II Required
Jade Denvers is an alias for an individual who underwent training for operation of a Hyperpulse Upload unit, in association with the Tharkad Broadcasting Service. This individual is also known to us for various studies they have undertaken in signal research and computer programming. The focus of these appear to be, respectively, 28th century Star League and civilian communication codes, as well as an understanding of base-level database operations which rival Tau Acolytes ready for promotion. Consider as a potential candidate for recruitment.

Elly Cordova

  • Affiliation: Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth, First Lyran Regulars
  • Position: Junior Communications Officer
  • Date of Birth: 3003
  • Homeworld: Sudeten
  • Height: 168 centimeters
  • Weight: 42 kilograms
  • Hair: Dark Brown
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; South European evident
Elly Cordova isn't all that fond of combat, as even from a younger age she preferred to find other ways to get out of trouble. When she joined the Armed Forces, it was simply because some of her friends had also enlisted. Split up from them, she wound up becoming assigned to learning communications equipment and logistics support while they were assigned to units fighting the Draconis Combine in the Tamar Pact. After the fighting died down, she learned all of them had been killed in action. She managed to hire herself onto a DropShip which was in the area, and intended to go into the civilian sector. In defiance of those plans, she wound up on Galatea with Priam Company filling out their charter, and seems content to assist them as 'Control' and their central communications officer assigned to the "Shadowfox" Leopard-class DropShip.

Eve Cressena

  • Affiliation: Freelance Transport
  • Position: Captain-Owner of the “Vagrant’s Pride” Leopard-class DropShip
  • Date of Birth: 3001
  • Homeworld: Alphecca
  • Height: 188 centimeters
  • Weight: 63 kilograms
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry; Pacific Islander evident
Eva Cressena owns and operates the "Shadowfox", a Leopard-class DropShip, after its registration was changed with Priam Company's inception. She is often quite vague on where it originally is from, but registration numbers place it in various places between the Lyran Commonwealth and Free Worlds League in the last twenty years. It has seen combat, but while some of the systems have been patched together it continues functioning at an acceptable level. Most personal information on Eva is limited to her list of previous deployments and routes, some of which involved combat and some of which were simply cargo routes.

The Harbingers

""I don't know what we are going to do next, boss."
"Same thing we did when Steel- when Robert started his outfit. Start from the bottom. Start looking into new contracts we can take, once we get to Basalt I'm going to need something for the rest of the crew."
— Founding members of the Harbingers

Founding Members

Adamant Dupree

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers
  • Position: Commander
  • Date of Birth: (Data Not Found)
  • Homeworld: (Data Not Found)
  • Height: 178 centimeters
  • Weight: 71 kilograms
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Mixed Ancestry, Caucasian apparent
Adamant Dupree was born to parents who could only barely do more than maintain their position on the world they lived on, though they were not alone in this. For most of his life growing up, he had nothing but the clothes he wore and knew little more than how to survive lean times. He was never afraid to confront people, and had trouble avoiding problems when he could tackle them head-on. This led to him enlisting in training academies which funneled him towards becoming a ‘Mechwarrior. When the Fourth Succession War ended, he was just about to graduate and wound up falling in with three friends from noble birth who felt drawn to the mercenary lifestyle. This outfit became the basis from which "the Harbingers" would eventually become formed.   Authorization Delta III Required
'Adamant Dupree' is an alias, but it has been determined the original identity is unimportant compared to later exploits. It is known Adamant took part in several contracts as part of the 'Four Horsemen' mercenary outfit, including a botched operation at Cylene and Allestra. Further information is classified under Report 'Allestra #3029-D5-33'.

Tristan "Deadeye" Johnson

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers
  • Position: Second in Command
  • Date of Birth: (Data Not Found)
  • Homeworld: Lima
  • Height: (Data Not Found)
  • Weight: (Data Not Found)
  • Hair: (Data Not Found)
  • Eyes: (Data Not Found)
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
Tristan went to the same academy as Adamant, and they became rather friendly rivals as Tristan continuously beat him in marksman contests. After the Harbingers sought to reform, he was tapped to join up and became one of the more crucial members. He managed to get into an Awesome AWS-8Q and rose to effectively become the second-in-command of the outfit. After an unlucky mission ended with the Harbingers reduced to three BattleMechs and needing work, he took over as teaching the newer recruits the ropes.

Overall Tristan tends to enter a distinctly potent focus on the battlefield, picking a target which seems key to the enemy and pounding it with enough force to stop it (if it's moving) or demolish it (if it's not). Outside the cockpit he practices with long-range ballistic rifles and keeps very little company. Nobody of the newer part of the outfit really know how to approach him, and he doesn't go seeking them out.   Authorization Delta III Required
The public information here is quite incorrect, but altering this data is not in the best interests of the individual or the MRB. Tristan Johnson is one of three survivors of the 'Four Horsemen' mercenary outfit and their ill-fated operation in the Cylene system. As a result of several following incidents, his name is connected with several minor bounties in the Draconis Combine. Further information is classified under Report 'Allestra #3029-D5-33'.

Nicole "Sassy" Schwartz

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers

Nicole Schwartz is a flashy and fiery woman who does not back down from a challenge, and seems driven to prove herself the equal of anyone else. This extends to proving herself the equal of even the infamous "Queen of Spades", Natasha Kerensky; a tall order but one which almost consumes her drive. Adamant knew of her skills and brought her in, but chose to give her a relatively unproven BattleMech to help redirect her into a challenge he felt was more important - being an effective pilot of her Cataphract CTF-1X.

There are several stories about how Nicole was dishonorably discharged from the armed forces, and while hers remains mostly consistent she seems to embellish it over time. Her official records are scant on detail, noting she assaulted a superior officer during an argument and claimed he picked the fight during a training session. Officially, there was a lack of evidence which left the lead-up unclear but she was offered the choice between pursuing the matter or being discharged with no further charges. Nicole chose to walk, and Adamant swiftly brought her into the fold when he found out she was available. All that is known now is that she has a very large distaste for mention of the Crucis Lancers; her unit was intended to be the 7th Crucis Lancers, until the incident.   Authorization Delta IV Required
Nicole Schwartz is one of three survivors of the 'Four Horsemen' mercenary outfit and their ill-fated operation in the Cylene system. As a result of following events, a number of local law enforcement organizations in the Draconis Combine have her name listed as 'apprehend on sight, lethal force authorized'. As well, her name is connected with at least one major bounty in the Proserpina system. Further information is classified under Report 'Proserpina #3029-D2-12'.

Finn Kannard is one of four personnel who joined just prior to the events on White Reach, as one of the Robinson Academy trainees on temporary assignment. When this turned into a more permanent arrangement, Finn began to train himself regularly to be certain of being useful. His first combat action brought him to the forefront in a major way, and as things escalated in 3032 he became an invaluable member of the Harbingers' "B-Squad".

Trevor "Bones" Spiegel

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers

  • Homeworld: Emporia
  • Height: (Data Not Found)
  • Weight: (Data Not Found)
  • Hair: (Data Not Found)
  • Eyes: (Data Not Found)
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
Trevor Spiegel was attached temporarily to the Harbingers with his lancemates from the Robinson Academy, and was one of three dispatched in the opening engagement on White Reach. He took it relatively hard when one lancemate was killed by an autocannon shredding apart the head of their Hatchetman, and gravitated towards the option of eventually having a chance to pay the favor back. He has become a considerable force of talent for the Harbingers, nearly mastering the use of the Hatchetman.

Frank "Badboi" Kazius

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers
  • Position: Melee Specialist
  • Date of Birth: (Data Not Found)
  • Homeworld: Allerton
  • Height: (Data Not Found)
  • Weight: (Data Not Found)
  • Hair: (Data Not Found)
  • Eyes: (Data Not Found)
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
Frank Kazius is one of four personnel who joined before the contract on White Reach, being part of the Robinson Academy squad assigned temporarily to the Harbingers. However, when the initial combat turned sour, Commander Dupree wound up throwing out the instructor in charge. Approached with the offer of joining up, Frank and the other two soon agreed and joined their Hatchetmen to the Harbingers. Of the trio, Frank has seen the most action on the field of battle and has honed his skills to be a very capable force in melee combat.

Finn "Spike" Bannister

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers
  • Position: Cavalry Specialist
  • Date of Birth: (Data Not Found)
  • Homeworld: New Roland
  • Height: (Data Not Found)
  • Weight: (Data Not Found)
  • Hair: (Data Not Found)
  • Eyes: (Data Not Found)
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
Finn, the younger Bannister sibling, joined the Harbingers with his brother and soon came to use one of the Mongoose MON-67 'Mechs almost exclusively. A slight recklessness is evident in the execution of combat style, usually closing quickly and flanking targets. His personality is reserved, and very little is known about his history within the Harbingers. The other side to this is how little the Harbingers as a whole truly care about his past, only wishing to know his focus is with them. Commander Dupree is quite grateful for the talent, and has employed the brothers as important parts of his battle plans.   Authorization Delta I required
It is not yet known to the Harbingers' command staff the Bannisters are from New Roland, nor is it readily obvious the Bannisters are in fact still recognized as citizens in the Capellan Confederation. Finn is perhaps one of the more readily influenced regarding this fact, as they were judged to barely qualify. Losing the citizenship and being assigned 'Servitor' status would be a devastating personal blow.

Louis "Sureshot" Bannister

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers
  • Position: Cavalry Specialist
  • Date of Birth: (Data Not Found)
  • Homeworld: New Roland
  • Height: (Data Not Found)
  • Weight: (Data Not Found)
  • Hair: (Data Not Found)
  • Eyes: (Data Not Found)
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
Louis Bannister is a freelancer from elsewhere in the Inner Sphere, and unlike many has shown a decent education from somewhere and a cursory amount of training across various disciplines in the military. Despite having this training, Louis dreamed of glory to be earned as a 'MechWarrior and seized a chance to strike out with his brother to seek this fortune elsewhere. Driven to excel and show his value, he has become a shockingly effective pilot of various weight classes of BattleMechs for the Harbingers. Currently he is being considered for leadership positions with a potential cavalry Lance devoted to exploiting fast-moving BattleMechs.   Authorization Delta I required
Unlike his brother, Louis seems even less pliable concerning his citizenship status; if anything the drive to seek glory has cast this ideal in a new light. Effectively, citizenship status might not be a reliable tool to influence the behavior of Louis at this time. In fact, threatening it might cause him to sever ties with the Confederation and never look back. The potentials of this result are intriguing, especially in the light of his brother's attitude.

Maxwell "Pilgrim" Harding

  • Affiliation: Freelance Mercenary
  • Position: Heavy Weapons Specialist
  • Date of Birth: March 14, 2995
  • Homeworld: Brisbane
  • Height: 177 centimeters
  • Weight: 71 kilograms
  • Hair: Auburn
  • Eyes: Hazel
  • Racial Type: Caucasian
Maxwell Harding is an oddity, taking the callsign "Pilgrim" and seeming to be indeed wandering in search of something. Recently he had a Zeus ZEU-6S as his own, but left it in storage before joining the fight on White Reach with the Harbingers. He generally keeps to himself among their number when off-duty, but during training exercises he takes on a role as a veteran helping the younger 'MechWarriors sharpen their skills.   Authorization Delta III required
What is known about "Pilgrim" to us can very easily fill several files, and we have evidence of him serving at least three different employers within the last decade alone. Because of the multitude of files, it has taken analysts a while to present the opinion Maxwell Harding is exactly as he appears. He is a man looking for a purpose, and even now seems to be looking ahead for where to look next. Applications for further information must be more limited in scope, in awareness of the breadth of the data.

Patricia "Patty-Cake" Drillben

  • Affiliation: White Reach Militia, Orenn Reserves
  • Position: Heavy Weapons Specialist
  • Date of Birth: July 6, 3007
  • Homeworld: Phalan
  • Height: 167 centimeters
  • Weight: 54 kilograms
  • Hair: Dark Brown
  • Eyes: Blue-Grey
  • Racial Type: (Data Not Found)
As a resident of a small settlement on the Orenn continent, Patricia Drillben didn't have a great amount of things to aspire to growing up. However, she soon found one in becoming part of the local militia and qualifying to be one of the few 'MechWarriors operating on Orenn. When she couldn't see any real advancement or even action, she wound up dissatisfied and transferred into the reserves, before the troubles starting on White Reach in 3030 drew her attention. She joined up with the Harbingers out of a desire to protect what she knows, and has gotten far more out of the deal than she thought possible.

Christopher "C" Grand

  • Affiliation: The Harbingers
  • Position: Executive Officer
  • Date of Birth: November 30, 2999
  • Homeworld: Basalt
  • Height: 185 centimeters
  • Weight: 67 kilograms
  • Hair: Blond
  • Eyes: Grey
  • Racial Type: Cacausian, Western European
Christopher Grand was part of a mining family on Basalt, but after the Fourth Succession War ended he found he didn’t have it in him anymore and walked away. At some point his family received notice of his death, but this was an identity error which nobody felt the need to clear up. The man now known and referred to as "C" to the Harbingers is a lanky, tall blond-haired man who keeps the Harbingers furnished with data, resources, and the means of getting to their contracts. One of the few Harbingers who was part of the outfit before deploying to White Reach, he is also one of the few people Adamant trusts completely with information he doesn't share widely and his opinion on matters is almost always taken into account.   Authorization Alpha II Required
Incidents traced back to Christopher's youth on Basalt have been appended to this file, concerning three non-lethal pranks involving small-scale explosive devices and various chemicals noted for unpleasant odor. Two of these incidents occurred after he had reached sixteen years of age, and resulted in psychiatric evaluations for a number of Adepts on Deneb. For further information, please see attached documents. As a result, including statements caught recorded showing no change in attitude, do not permit the individual now going by "C" anywhere near a Hyperpulse Generator Station again without supervision at all times.

(Main Article:Elizabeth Wallings)   Lady Elizabeth Wallings, Baroness of Phalan, though her authority is quite limited with the creation of the Senate. In recent years, she has become even more distant from the idea of cooperating with the governing body and sought other avenues of advancing her ideals.

Alan Garryck

  • Affiliation: Argeith Distillery
  • Date of Birth: Unknown
  • Homeworld: Phalan
  • Height: Data Not Found
  • Weight: Data Not Found
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Grey
  • Racial Type: Caucasian evident
As foreman of the Argeith Distillery, Alan Garryck is used to the challenges of living in the arctic region and keeping a business running. For the last five years, the distillery has been operating above cost but with a notable decline in profits since the arrival of mercenary outfits. Even so, Argeith Limited Reserves continue to be sold for incredible bid amounts and delivered as promised. Alan's biggest headaches have been largely in keeping the logistics solutions working, since the distillery is far outside most strategic positions on the planet.

Joshua Whitfield

  • Affiliation: Whitfield Electronics
  • Date of Birth: Unknown
  • Homeworld: Phalan
  • Height: Data Not Found
  • Weight: Data Not Found
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Racial Type: Caucasian evident
Whitfield Electronics is majority-owned by the Whitfield family, with Joshua Fairchild Whitfield being the man currently in the chair making decisions during this troubled time. In the same year Frederic Whitfield stepped down and put his son Joshua in control of the business, mercenary outfits were slowly building up and a sudden disruption of the planetwide telecommunications systems happened. Declaring the time was merely a challenge to be beaten, Joshua decided to lean into the crisis and use it to his advantage. Whitfield Shortwaves thus were rushed to production in 3030, sold rapidly to a number of civilian groups, and just as quickly set back once the communication disruption had ended before the end of the year. Currently the company has gone back to creating civilian-oriented appliances and components for non-military computers.

Beyond this process, Joshua is qualified for civilian 'Mech operation and technically also carries authorization for ownership of a CLNT-2-3T Clint Battle'Mech. Official records do not carry any information of Joshua having passed combat qualifications, however.

Kevin Donomo

  • Affiliation: Donomo Farms
  • Date of Birth: Unknown
  • Homeworld: Phalan
  • Height: Data Not Found
  • Weight: Data Not Found
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Racial Type: Unknown
Kevin Donomo is nominally in charge of the farming community of the 'Donomo Collective', but he would readily protest the organization is quite loose. For the last six years, he has been left in position to deal with all the official problems and act as a buffer between the Senate and the farmers doing the work. With his cousin Alan Garryck running the Argeith Distillery and taking any excess grain left over after the seasons are over, the farming collective has been doing a fair job keeping active and prosperous even during the current unrest. The success has made it hard for the collective to accept Kevin's repeated insistence he will step down in 3033 to return to his own farm and raise his children properly.

Hilda Rooker

  • Date of Birth: Unknown
  • Homeworld: Phalan

  • Weight: Data Not Found
  • Hair: Brown

  • Racial Type: Scandanavian evident
Hilda Rooker is currently the face of the Castellan Corporation, responsible for dealing with publicity. This means, currently, many troubles stemming from the current "occupation" of the planet. Since the outbreak of hostilities, Castellan has been notably hoarding metal meant for domestic sales while continuing to export the same amount of reprocessed metals from their foundaries outside Vernier City. Even so, she has evaded the worst implications of the situation, through repeated insistence on the problem being only temporary. Rumors, however, slowly leaking out as governmental contracts have failed to be fulfilled and stockpile facilities have been targeted by mercenaries requiring refined metals to continue repairs on their combat units.

    • "Landfall", Pt 6
(Main Article:Janus Templar)   Janus is a tall, striking man who tends to wear white suits with silver accents. He has a gold tattoo around on eye in an ancient symbol from Old Terra, one which he does not explain much about except to note "it has meaning to me". His demeanor is controlled, rarely raising his voice except to be heard over something - or someone - else. Nobody is ever quite sure what his goals are, but he works towards them in a way described to be "coming at it from the sides". In general, he claims his goals are for the best path humanity can take, to keep a controlled peace rather than chaotic war.
He is known to have agents and contacts through many regions of the Inner Sphere, but the extent of his influence and reach is hard to gauge. All that is known of him is what he wishes known of him, and those who pry too deep vanish to turn up dead not too much longer. Usually in a way to send a message to those who had those spies prying into his life.   Authorization Rho VIII Required
Prying into Janus Templar has proven difficult due to his position as a member of an intelligence organization. Attempts have been foiled quite handily, and low-level field agents have been uncovered quickly. Therefore, there is to be no more field work; we will restrict our efforts to data analysis only. The analysis so far has uncovered an obvious fact: "Janus Templar" does not have a past, therefore the name is an alias. Who the alias refers to is where our trouble has been found, and it appears Janus has therefore been busy using his present connections to remove information.

    • "Expect the Unexpected"
    • "It All Began With...", Pt 10
    • "Operations", Pt 7
    • "Operations", Pt 10
Anthony Aliandros is the head of an interstellar shipping company called 'Aliandros Starscapes', owning a veritable fleet of DropShips converted for cargo hauling and at least one Invader-class JumpShip. While not as readily notable as many other companies, one distinct detail is an adamant refusal to directly carry weapons or any "machines of war". This is not to say his company does no business with military units, but if so it is usually medical supplies or food.   Authorization Rho X Required
Anthony Aliandros is an alias for someone else, but the process of narrowing this down has run into numerous setbacks since this was realized. One such setback concerns his remarkable disdain for sending information through ComStar channels, all information is thus second-hand and requires independent variation. Embedding agents within his company has proven difficult, as they never seem to rise beyond a certain level before being dismissed on flimsy charges. Observation is thus to follow protocol to be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Sorvetz Reisel

  • Affiliation: Rysel Industries, Lyran Commonwealth
  • Rank: Chief Executive
  • Date of Birth: 2960; Unknown Date
  • Homeworld: Rigil Kentarus
  • Height: 180 centimeters
  • Weight: 39 kilograms
  • Hair: White
  • Eyes: Blue-Grey
  • Racial Type: Unknown, Frankish apparent
  • First Appearance: "Operations", Pt 10
List of Appearances   (Main Article: Sorvetz Reisel)   Lord Sorvetz Reisel is the man in charge of Rysel Industries, a long-surviving company existing since before the fall of the Star League. The oldest member of the family surviving, Sorvetz keeps control of his company with an iron will with the assistance of his daughter Hechek. Confined to life support mechanisms due to age and a slowly failing body, he nevertheless is a dangerous adversary.   Authorization Rho XII Required
What we know about Sorvetz Reisel can fill several terabytes of data, and require many analysts to properly offer up even a synopsis. Furthermore, and perhaps disturbingly, there are gaps in our information where there should not be some. Anything concerning the Rysel Corporate War is full of holes, and events in the early thirty-first century have been missing. This suggests active counter-intelligence in progress, though we have no evidence Rysel Industries is capable of this. Whether or not they are capable, all investigations around Rysel Industries locations or personnel is to be undertaken with extreme caution.

Hechek Reisel

  • Affiliation: Rysel Industries
  • Rank: Director of Pharmaceuticals
  • Date of Birth: Data Not Found
  • Homeworld: Rigil Kentarus
  • Height: 214 centimeters
  • Weight: 98 kilograms
  • Hair: Light brown
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Racial Type: Unknown, Frankish apparent
  • First Appearance: "It All Began With...", Pt 10
List of Appearances   Dutiful daughter to her father, Hechek Reisel is a striking woman indeed. Most who have the opportunity to meet her describe her as "exceedingly focused", and in her usual arena of business politics she has been noted as well to have a ruthless streak. With her father's poor state of health, Hechek often is known to attend meetings in person if transport cannot be arranged for her father.   Authorization Delta IV Required
Our records are quite complete regarding Hechek Reisel, as opposed to her father, yet there are still a great many questions. For the first part, her exact date of birth on various official documentation seems to vary with a timeframe of two months. Secondly, no record of birth can be located on file anywhere within known space. Attempts to even casually gather this information have garnered negative reactions from anyone who should know the information, up to and including agent fatalities. This, coupled with the interesting detail of her notable physical attributes, suggests there is a serious need for further data once her father passes and can no longer protect her.
