  The Harbingers and Priam Company finally make contact in a non-aggressive manner, and come to an understanding which is helpful for both of them. Commander Dupree requires resources to help get the factory further capable, and the cost is quickly becoming more of a burden. With a functional Heavy BattleMech and skilled technical teams, they have a lot to barter with. Priam Company agrees to purchase the ON1-K Orion and hire on one of the elite 'Mech teams for assistance. When the exchange is made, the next move is negotiating with Kreiss to import a LRM Carrier to help reinforce their defenses.

Two special missions are also taken under contract, as Commander Dupree needs some action to keep funds incoming. One contract is undertaken as reports of rebelling militia units are actively seeking targets of opportunity inside Vernier City. Another contract offered by the Castellan Casting Corporation is involved to acquire hardware and machinery needed to help upgrade the factory.

With all these efforts made, heavier mechanisms are installed at the factory while the abandoned 'Iota Firebase' has its infrastructure improved to better exploit the valuable resources nearby. Commander Dupree is eager to make the most of what he has access to, as there is a significant debt to repay to Kreiss and there is only a dent in it thus far.

  Priam Company has the new Orion to make ready, and begins putting effort into scout flights. Two scout flights leave Epirus Firebase and begin searching out anything of interest. In the process they discover a couple bases in the area, seemingly being occupied by the Twenty-Second Skye Rangers. On Pelea, a scout flight searching for any Legion activity comes across a small forward site in the Cypra Wetlands near Coral Cove. Mindful of exposing themselves to a fight on multiple fronts, Commander Sethan authorizes a strike force to attack those forces and drive them back. At the same time, a suspected cache of weapons in a storage facility belonging to Baroness Wallings has come to light. The new Orion is sent to be broken in, with orders to neutralize instead of destroying the enemy forces.
