Neon Angel

The story in the quotes is a followup on the story from Neon God. With bodies of the followers of the Neon God surrounding him and a doll in his hand, Vagabond was ready to finally leave the garbage dump and wash himself.
But that's when he heard one of his chains snapping off. And a next one. Neon Angels he tied with them were free. And they weren't happy he killed their master.

While the Neon God is a spirit, born of the things, that people were very attached to, but somehow ended up on the garbage dump, the Neon Angels were born of items that were forgotten about. Abandoned and unloved, those Spirits attach themselves to Neon Gods, the only source of love on a dump.

Manifestation

Once they have enough energy to manifest themselves, Garbage Angels will take on a form of either humanoid or an abstract shape made completely out of trash and junk. Behind what could be considered their head, they have floating (and blinding) neon lamps shaped into halos. Lower, underneath those halos, they have multiple pairs of wings made out of glass.

A few managed to cut him, but Vagabond broke out of the circle of Angels. Now, he was backing away through the tunnel in the garbage mound while shooting those who got close to him.
Out of nowhere, he was stabbed in the back by one of the Spirits that were probably the ones protecting the entrance of the mound. He turned around, grabbed the one who did that to him and smashed its head against the nearby wall.
It was completely dark by now on the outside. Still backing out, Vagabond used some of his chains to seal off the cave the worshippers of the Neon God built. It wouldn't stop the Spirits for too long, but enough to give him a headstart to run away from the garbage dump.
He ran away without any further harm, a doll still in his hand.

Bodyguards

Once they attach themselves to something, Neon Angels will do anything they can to protect it. The tactic they most often use is to blind a hostile target with their halos and then stab it to death with their wings. Even if the thing they protected is destroyed, they will follow their target as far as they can (to the border of the dump) and wait to kill it.
They can find a new thing to attach themselves to after some time, but they will still remember those who wronged them.
