- Sam Blackwell heard from Jeannie Skelly that some person or group inside the Power faction is making a play on secrets and hidden artifacts of other wizards and faction members. Sam later ran into Felix the Cat outside of Terry's Udon . He seemed to be interested in Terry and Udon, asking about the restaurant and their apartment.
- RESOLVED
The Power faction became interested in a group of non-faction tarot readers and others prophesying the end of the world in a NE Mpls park. Will started to get drawn into their cult-like activity. Percy Nord was able to get Will out of trouble, and Friedrich Gottschalk in turn helped Percy escape Power's notice.
- RESOLVED
Someone in the Power faction is looking for the box Udon is hiding for Talbot Marlot. Whoever it is knows Udon has it. Shortly after Udon learned this, Sam Blackwell found Felix the Cat hanging out in Terry's Udon shop, chatting up Lillian Kemps.

Rumors are circulating that some wizards are summoning entities and monsters and binding them to fight. It is unclear whether they are fighting each other in tournaments or being used to attack or fend off some other entity. Rory Breaker summoned and bound Sam Blackwell to fight for him at least once.
- A coven of witches are practicing at the central branch of the Saint Paul Public Library. They are channeling particularly German energy through the Medallion of Loki. Friedrich Gottschalk discovered this when he was caught in one of their wards.
- A group of "high society" wizards and witches do not like Udon. They feel the Moon Queen hasn't made proper arrangements for Udon's stay in Minneapolis. Likewise, Udon hasn't been a very good guest of the Minneapolis fae court. Obviously, this group has some ties to the fae.
- A very old legend known as the "Eerie Witch" has come into town from Pennsylvania looking into awakenings of water spirits.
- Kim Johnson, a prominent wizard in Minneapolis, has disappeared, creating a small power vacuum. Several wizards are shoring up their defenses and hiring body guards.
- Rory Breaker has opened a store selling exotic pets, magical pets, and magic components from animals. He unknowingly got in a shipment of cursed or weirdly acting ingredients, such as a defective unicorn horn, a dragon claw from a dragon that really isn't dead yet, and a cursed ukulele. Talbot Marlot was the first person to buy one of these items and set Rory straight before any other wizard was involved, he thinks.
- There is a drug for wizards and other magic users (Carnivale) that makes their induced hallucinations real while the high lasts. Is it new orĀ just making a resurgence? Things got out of hand at Black Forest and Friedrich Gottschalk had to shut the bar down "for fire damage" to keep the mortal public from being suspicious about the story the quick thinking bartender told.
