An Alien attempts to colonize a planet

It is the Cenozoic era and humanity barely a thought on the Earth. It is around 5 million years before the "modern" age, or in humanities science terms its the Pilocene Epoch. Dinosaurs are suppose to dead (even though stragglers appear from unknown reasons) Mammoth Men stroll the lands for food and stuff.   King Rano initiates his colony but stumbles upon the problem of the sheer cold of the location they picked. This problem was solved by a cryogenic technique that allowed the populace to phase in and out of sleep.   But alas they will be doomed to a frozen sleep until a goddess found them.
