Fitzie Blackmore

Fitzie Blackmore was once just a fellow halfling musician in Jonnie's old band, a quiet lute player who always seemed content to let Jonnie take the spotlight. The two bonded during their days in the Guild, both eager to escape the weight of Mistshore and make something more of themselves. Fitzie rarely spoke much, but when he did, it was with warmth, insight, and the kind of calm that could cut through Jonnie's stormiest moods. After Jonnie left the Guild, the two fell out of contact. Fitzie kept his distance, saying little and offering no opinion on Jonnie’s departure. For a long time, Jonnie believed that was the end of it. Recently, Fitzie returned. At first he appeared in a strange dream that felt more real than memory. Later he arrived in person at the Frightened Ferret, offering Jonnie a new pair of suspenders wrapped in cloth and speaking with quiet conviction. He told Jonnie that this was not charity, but something he had earned. When he turned to leave, Jonnie saw a faint flash of golden light in his eyes. A single long white feather was left behind where he stood. It became clear that Fitzie was not only a halfling, but an aasimar. Whether he was sent by Murray to be Jonnie’s friend, a guardian, or something else entirely remains unknown. What is certain is that he arrived when Jonnie needed him most and reminded him of who he truly is.
