Emerald Enclave
The Emerald Enclave is a centuries-old order devoted to preserving the natural balance between civilization and the wild. Known across Faerûn for both its compassion and its ferocity, the Enclave is equally remembered for healing the wounded and for delivering swift retribution against those who despoil the land. Stories of their deeds—true and exaggerated alike—have become cautionary tales in frontier taverns and noble courts alike.
The Enclave is not bound by the tenets of good or evil, but by neutrality. Its members walk the narrow path between extremes, committed to restoring harmony where imbalance threatens. Though druids form its heart, the Enclave also welcomes rangers, bards, and others who venerate nature and its rhythms.
While the organization spans the continent, its presence in Waterdeep is presently diminished. A significant portion of its strength has been recalled to address an unnamed threat to the northeast. As a result, only a handful of agents remain to safeguard the city’s natural sanctuaries. Roywyn Daergal, Autumnreaver, now stands as the most senior representative of the Emerald Enclave in Waterdeep.

Purpose and Function
The Emerald Enclave intervenes wherever the natural order is threatened. In cities, this might mean restoring overtaxed soil, purging magical blight, or maintaining sacred groves. In the wilds, it may call for more direct action—opposing unchecked deforestation, subduing corrupted beasts, or removing planar intrusions. Members are often itinerant, observing, healing, and guiding others to coexist with the world rather than dominate it. While peaceful by nature, the Enclave is not passive. Those who poison rivers, defile sacred lands, or desecrate the dead have found their punishment swift and merciless.Structure and Ranks
The Enclave is divided into formal ranks, granted in recognition of service and attunement to nature. Master of the Wild – The highest formal rank, granted only to those who have become one with the natural order in both body and soul. These individuals often vanish into the deep wilds or planes beyond, never to return.Winterstalker – Winterstalkers are enforcers of the balance. When threats to nature must be eradicated, it is often the Winterstalker who delivers the Enclave’s final answer.
