Brambleshroom Greentide, known as Bram, is a
Deep Gnome druid of the
Emerald Enclave. He served as the mentor to
Roywyn Daergal and
Thistledown le Gronx during their initiateship. The three became a respected and effective unit for the Enclave. Over time, the bond between the three grew beyond mentorship, and they became romantic partners, living and working as a throuple within the Enclave.
History
Mentorship and Bond
When Roywyn and Thistledown joined the Emerald Enclave as initiates, they were placed under the tutelage of Brambleshroom Greentide. The trio developed an extraordinary connection, their personalities and skills complementing one another in both practice and philosophy. Their professional bond deepened into personal affection, and they eventually formalized their relationship as a committed throuple. Once Bram reached the level of Winterweaver within the Enclave, he used
Nature's Sanctuary to craft a home for the three of them in
Ilythiir's Garden
The Rift and Thistledown’s Death
During their service to the Enclave, a rift to a pocket fey plane opened near a sacred grove just outside
Waterdeep. Roywyn, Brambleshroom, and Thistledown responded to the disturbance and encountered a swarm of hostile skitter pixies pouring through the breach. They had not been adequately warned about the severity of the incursion, and were caught unprepared. They fought valiantly, but ultimately Thissy sacrificed herself to save Bram and Roywyn.
The Resurrection Attempt
After her death, Brambleshroom became increasingly bitter and withdrawn. Roywyn observed him experimenting with unfamiliar magical practices she did not recognize and warned her superiors. The Enclave confronted him at the grove, where he was in the midst of an attempt to resurrect Thistledown. The confrontation escalated into a brutal battle. Eventually, Roywyn disrupted Bram's ritual using her own magic. The resulting explosion destroyed the grove, killed several members of the Enclave, and left no trace of Brambleshroom or Thistledown at the epicenter.
